What bad traits do you possess ?

Or more so, can you admit your bad traits?
    ..And I mean personality traits

Are you unfriendly, ego-tistic or just a plain sh*t ?
I would easily admit I have flaws about myself and I'm almost sure everyone else can admit their own flaws deep down in their little hearts.

I'm hot headed and incredibly impatient. But I'm also great craic and unbelievably loyal, so ya know, it balances out. :D

I always feel subservient to the mods

I'm aggressive, confrontational and, at times, quite cold/emotionless ......... also have violent tendencies which I've worked hard to take control of ........ also have extreme OCD.

I'm incredibly stubborn and strong-willed. The two definitely do not go hand in hand.

I tend to go with the definition of introversion where it means ya get tired when being social.

So I'm grand to go out and do stuff and enjoy myself but will turn down every plan the next day. Just can't deal with constant interaction with friends.

I'm a teacher and interaction with students doesn't cause this at all.

Have a slight inclination to procrastination...

Once determined, 80% of the time I follow through.. would like to be better on that.

    Compassionate but probably too much...

I do give myself a hard time though

I am so unorganised - outside of work.

Drives me fcuking insane. Hate it. I LOVE everything being organised and perfect but my brain just doesn't allow it.

I am a procrastinator, I leave everything to be done in a state of dealine induced panic and then I get ratty when people are looking for stuff off me and it's not done. I really hate that I do it but I've yet to manage to change it.

Childish, irreverent, fond of bitching. Oh yeah, and very intimidating apparently!

But super organised, to me being organised is like crack cocaine

I'm very intolerant of people that won't move with the times and use technology
Also I get grumpy if said technology doesn't do what it's supposed to do.

Cannot understand how in this day and age we still have people running a business but don't know how to use a computer
Hardly a day goes by when someone tells me on the phone that they don't use E-mail,haven't a clue what google maps are and I then have to waste 10 mins giving them directions. They have a €700 smartphone that they use for calls and text only.God forbid they'd use it to find their destination!!

Oh and don't get me started on fax machines.Only one place for those...THE MUSEUM :D

The Facebook generation are gonna find it hard not to be completely self absorbed and narcissistic.

I am currently working on my defects (there's a lot) with meditation and spirituality techniques. It's actually really hard work spotting your negative traits/defects. Many people are oblivious to theirs, as I was and still can be.

Ego, pride and self centred defects plague a lot of people (myself included). It's obvious many opinionated people who really value what they believe and say suffer this defect.

I find it enlightening and extremely beneficial physically/emotionally to identify and correct my defects. One of the hardest parts of this is not pointing out other people's glaringly obvious defects. A significant part of my journey is learning and actively trying not to judge or give opinions where either they weren't asked or where they won't bring peace to a conversation. See if you can spend a day not criticising, sniping, sarcasm, subtle insults or even judging in your head, another person. This includes if somebody is annoying or upsetting you.

Is this too deep for AH?

Oh I have a few. I can be terribly selfish at times. Also I'm quite introspective so can get very caught up with my own stuff. For example I might not contact a friend for weeks. I'll want to be doing my own thing and kind of forget to check in with people.

I have a confrontational streak which surprises people and sometimes myself.

I can be judgemental. I'm sitting on a train at the minute and there are a bunch of women sitting around me. They're heading up to Dub for the weekend. The thought "I'd say they don't get out much" popped in to my head :pac:

I'm very stubborn, selfish and self-centred.

I'm convinced I'm right 99% of the time in a debate or whatever, though I am able to admit if someone has a better point.

There's very few people I will admit to myself are smarter than me (and it's not as if I'm a massive brainbox or anything).

Never let me near a source of music at a party or somebody's house, I'll be choosing the music all night and won't be happy to share.

    Otherwise, I'm perfect.

    I'm really passive aggressive
    Pretty intolerant
Not good at sharing emotions or feelings or touching, at all.
    Terrible procrastination

I can be a bit of an asshole.

It's not intentional mind (erm, usually...), more down to bad habits/being poor at communicating in person (and indeed not being very inclined towards it).

I'm exactly the same. Wish I could change, but am too lazy to do so, plus there's no external deadline to do it!

I'm oddly good at understanding why people are doing things even if they are in denial, but it developed into a bit of a stubbornness to be wrong. Learning to resolve that the best i can.

I'm also still a bit codependent, codependent prone. Again, working on it. Takes time.

I think my worst trait is my modesty. I'm way, way too modest in general, but everything else about me is fantastic.

    Oh I have more.

I'm an awful procrastinator and can be fierce lazy. Also I don't forgive. If I feel you've hurt me or betrayed me in any way then that's that. Although I'm not sure if that is a particularly bad trait. You have to mind yourself.
