I'm looking at keeping a few geese this year maybe 10-15 to help keep the grass down ( 2 Acres ) fatten them over the summer. maybe ready for next Christmas.

Is there anyone selling day /week old goslings
when would be the best time to get them ?
Is there any type or breed which is best.

It is a bit early in the year for goslings. Geese will only be thinking about laying from now on as the weather/daylight improves.
Keep an eye on Donedeal or local poultry sales in your area. There will be plenty for sale from April on.
