Only current, active fighters in any organisation and only matchups that haven't yet already been made (e.g. Cormier v Jones 2 wouldn't count as this is scheduled for April, nor would GSP v anyone as GSP is inactive/retired).

    Some of mine:

    Justin Scoggins v Louis Smolka
    Aljamain Stering v Thomas Almeida
    Jose Aldo v Max Holloway

    :eek::pac:

I got no problem with Lukker. He's defintely not alone on this board for making BS statements(opinions) with absolutely nothing to back it up or justify it with. It would be boring if we all had the same opinion but at the very least have some reasoning behind your opinion is all I ask :)

On that note....Mellor WTFs your reasoning for that post eh eh? :p

btw - I don't think my armchair would be allowed in the octagon :D

I want people who'll post and build a fight. THis is my first fight card as promoter and I want everyone to Tune into TV3 on March 19th (paddy's weekend)

Ah he's still here alright. Doesn't post as much as he used to but he's still here, don't worry!

We don't want no yellow y-front night, this isn't your fight card, this is MY card. I own this game. This is my game. I bring in the BIG numbers etc etc etc

    Rory McDonald v Condit II
    Lawler v Nick Diaz II
    Lawler v Conor
    Jones v Rumble
Ferguson v Khabib (already booked hope it goes through without injures)
Ferguson v Barboza II (I'd watch that every week, was such a good scrap while it lasted)
    Barboza v Pettis (Striker's delight)
    Aldo v Holloway

And my all time dream matchup:
    Prime Shogun v Prime Anderson

The welterweight division is such a fascinating division these days and there's so many scenarios that could play out at the top tier.

Woodley is still waiting for his shot. Wonderboy wants his. MacDonald is definitely still in the picture. Condit is also there but there's still a few doubts over his fighting career.

I'd be happy to see any of these fights at 170.

    MacDonald vs Wonderboy

    Lawler vs Wonderboy

    Condit vs Lawler II

    Woodley vs Wonderboy (title eliminator)

    MacDonald vs Woodley II

Some fascinating match ups in that division for sure.

    McGregor vs Khabib definitely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 650 ✭✭✭csallmighty

Rousey's comeback - see how she rebounds after her first loss.
Jon Jones vs Cain/Werdum - or any top HW.
    +1 for Thompson vs MacDonald.
    +1 for Barboza vs Pettis.
+1 for McGregor vs Diaz - mostly for the sh*t talk.
McGregor vs Lawlor - unlikely but I think Conor would be mad enough to try it.
    Belfort vs Machida.
    Rockhold vs Silva.

More welterweight shenanigans and it may never ever happen but I would pay all sorts of money to watch Ben Askren vs Robbie Lawler. That would be a great fight imo.

For some reason I think Cro Cop vs Rothwell would be a fun fight to watch.

Askren fights at middleweight now so there's even more of a chance of it not happening now, hopefully he comes to the ufc!

Do people actually enjoy watching Askren fight? I can't say I'm a fan.

I enjoy his personality and I don't mind his style but if you think he takes Lawler, Condit, MacDonald, Woodley, Hendricks or even Matt Brown you're wrong.

Handicap clearly. Would prefer to see Gunnar form the Nelson brothers with Big Country, mind.

One FC MW = UFC WW

If he ever leaves OneFC for the UFC, it'll be straight back down imo.
I wish he'd move on, but I've a feeling he like being the big fish in a small pond.

The reason he's at One is they are giving him a LOT of money. His Fight + Win pay over the duration of his two year contract is about $1million and then he has personal sponsorships on top of that.

He's always said he'd prefer to fight the best guys in the world but Dana being Dana will give a shot to people like Artem instead of giving a skilled fighter a crack.

Whatever you think of his fights, he's one of the top in his division in the world and would prose a problem to pretty much anyone. I want to see the best fighters fighting the best fighters because I like seeing how they'll solve the problems they're presented with.

Aljamain Sterling is announcing who he's signing for tomorrow on the MMA Hour. Would not be surprised to see him sign for ONE FC. They'll offer him big money and use him as the face of the organization similar to what they do with Askern
