Is their stadium even half full? I know the capacity being around 32,000 may make the attendance look smaller than it is, but doesn't look great for such an important match for Wasps.

Try and, unfortunately, one of Wasp's most important players with a nasty injury.

Leinster are in with a pretty good chance here. Wasps have too much experience and quality to get rattled though at this point.

Is it just me or does Macken look huge?

Jesus christ Sexton is just constantly getting attention these days, just get him off this game means nothing

    That's concussion on Sexton.

    Another one.

Have Wasps already qualified or do they need to win here?

    Sexton off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Hasty decision from Wasps. Kickable penalty stuck into touch in early stages.

Does the PA always play that shíte?

Gopperth hits back. Good score following good defence by Leinster who slowed down the ball really well but numbers told in the end.

If Sexton remains off, the game is over for Leinster, I would think.

Our maul is just awful, in attack and defence

It is at a shocking level

Leinster actually should be a second try up. Cronin butchered it.

Has a lot to do with Toner. To say he's disinterested would be an understatement.

    Annoyed we butchered our try.

Leinster have really shot themselves in the foot so far! Now behind, not looking the best for the rest of the match, especially if Johnny is gone.

For my money Dev has come through and disrupted the Wasps maul twice but penalised and warned by the ref.

He's one of the few trying to make something happen at the maul.

We've a light pack and only one lock on the pitch. The maul was always going to be a weakness.

Uninterested. Disinterested is what the ref is! :)

By taking the easy option and walking around the side twice?

Commentary team says no, they said he won't be back on.

The maul shifted around him. He was fighting through the middle and the opposition pack moved the point of attack. Good work from Wasps. Far from "disinterested" from Toner.

At no stage was he through the middle.

He didn't get through the middle. He was positioned there and trying to get through and had managed to get hands on the carrier when the maul shifted. That's his normal approach.

He was excellent in the last maul too when we walked them back 20 yards.

Fitzgerald is incredible at beating the first tackler and finding space where there looks like there is none at all.

    Try!

thats a try, great work DK

The absolute power of Dave Kearney to have 4 - 5 players pushing him into touch and yet still holds them up long enough for Reddan to show up and pick the ball of the deck.

Great play yet again from Kearney Jnr.

Lovely score. Very impressed with Fitzgerald too.

I can see Sexton having to give up the game at a relatively young age.

You said he was fighting through the middle. He wasn't. He started on the outside and stayed there to work his way around to the carrier. Blatant penalty.
