Hydrolyzed Protein ; Allergen Free?

I bought some amino acids in a shop recently. I am intolerant to an array of common allergens. The ingredients specified hydrolyzed protein plus it specified it was free of a common list of allergens. However they made feel unwell including foggy brian. So i am confused am in intolerant of hydrolyzed protein in itself or…

So i am confused am in intolerant of hydrolyzed protein in itself or the protein it was made from? The label does not say what it was made from only that is free of soya, wheat, gluten, yeast, fish etc.
