I jumped on for the first time in 9 weeks yesterday, I only assume it was 9 weeks as I had 9 sterling treasure box things to open...

Tried logging in at 4PM with my mate who got Destiny on a sale last week, of course we picked maintenance time to do so... ;(

Had 3 games of IB as he didn't jump on in the end and lost them all, I was getting rewards but they weren't showing up at all, thought to myself "this is pointless" and l logged out...

Hopefully the Bungie gods will look on us favourably when/if we get a chance to play soon...

How on earth are bungie making a complete and utter mess of the game since about mid may? The game was running grand and whatever they done has made it unplayable a lot of the time now

I reckon it is down to Rise of Iron - i think they are doing some things in the background in prep for Rise of Iron and, more specifically, engine/game changes that are coming now they are dropping last gen.

I can understand changes need to be made but surely they have tested them before releasing them into the wild like. 1 problem pops up, they fix it and the fix breaks 2 other things instead.

Hey, at least it's not on the same scale as The Division. Massive have made a RIGHT hames of that one. Destiny is buttery smooth compared to how broken and glitch that thing is

The Division seemed to have learned from their mistakes and are now releasing the DLC a month early to the x-box rabble so they can beta test it for the rest of us.


I played some Heroic stuff in the Division the other day and it was brutal. I haven't the heart to grind through it and am chronically under-levelled.

BF4 was another one. They'd patch one thing and six other things would stop working properly. Took them about a year to fix everything.

I just realised that they nerfed the Tripmine so that it doesn't stick to players anymore. What the absolute ****? Hunters already get the shaft when it comes to nades, now they've ****ed over (again) one of the few decent ones available.

Personally no issue with it not sticking, but the damage nerf it also took was a step too far, imo.

Can't understand the thought behind it. Hunters already have by far the weakest grenades. With this nerf, only the Flux grenade can 0HK. Compare that to the Fusion, Magnetic, Incendiary, Lightning, Scatter et al.

Got the Titan to 5 Saturday morning. Rushed eagerly to Lord Saladin for rewards which was a crappy mark. It was 334, think I have 2 @ 335. Got the Hunter to 3 but heart wasn't in it after that.


Came back Sunday to finish of the Hunter. Bought a hacksaw from the vendor and ranked it up with motes and threw a 335 Nirwan's Mercy into it. Dear God it's some gun. Ranked up the Hunter and got the Warlock from 0-5 , which took all of two games, thanks to some old bounties Hacksaw had the most kills from all guns dethroning the Havoc Pigeon which has been the most for about the last 5 IBs.

Got three weapon drops and a LOAD of blue crap. Was a poor IB for loot. Good IB for KD though.

Had a good enough Iron Banner this time around. The games were actually OK, I noticed a bit of lag but not as bad as everyone else.

The craic was great though, some great Iron Banter. I've been told off twice now for waking everyone in the house

Not too much lag from the games I played - apart from you Kibble you lagging f***ing Pr***. Probably playing on borrowed wifi from his next door neighbor.

Had some good games with you lot last night, think I'm finally getting back to being decent at the game.

Yeah Kibble was a pain, I spawned in at the start legged it around and got him with a head shot, about 4 seconds pass and I just randomly die and he only has about 5% of his shield gone from a 1kys headshot :mad:

Played a great game on Saturday night on my own. Spawned in to Shores Of Time near C. Our teams caps C, myself and a few others run and cap B. I'm aiming over waiting on the opposing team. Nobody appears. Then we cap A. We're still waiting to see them. Strength of the wold and nothing happening. We run over and find them in a bunch hiding behind the pillars outside of A. We kill a few. They spawn in again, and now skirt around the back of the map and they've hidden off the side of the cliff behind our spawn. They're hiding in the undergrowth. We join them for a dance and a sit down. A few guys in our team rush in and kill them. They spawn again and they're hiding next to A, but not in it to cap it. Then 5 of them depart leaving one guy waving and grieving. Mercy kicks in and it's all over!

Finding it hard to drum up enthusiasm for IB this time round. I've gone back to Battlefield 4 for my drunken MP rampages. Getting seriously hockeyed. The sooner Battlefield 1 is released and my fellow scrubs start playing the better.

I still like Iron Banner cause it offers the best chance of getting a group together for PvP; solo PvP is becoming a real slog a lot of the time. So, eh, YAY! Iron Banner week!

I tried it out a few times and couldn't get the hang of it. It has huge impact, but is pretty slow firing. Thorn has ruined me for Handcannons...
