Former TUF alumni Josh Samman in critical condition after being found unresponsive. Details are sketchy but looks like an OD. A friend of his dead at the scene.

Thoughts and prayers must go to the family. Just an awful situation.

He actually did very well on the show finishing 3 fights in the first round before finally being choked out in the Semi-final by the eventual winner. A young man by the name of Kelvin Gastelum.

He has a history of drug addiction. As I said details so far are sketchy at best. A friend's account. But looks like an OD. Really hope he does pull through.
There have been quite a few deaths recently within the MMA community.

The weight limits are set down in the unified rules.
I'm not certain, but I think the UFC has no power to change the weightlimits, within the USA anyway.

And Cathal lost a split decision in the semi final to Gordon which arguably he won..

Think Cathal did the best from that season had six fight going 4-2, I think only Urbina is still with ufc from the MW side

Bader bet him a few years ago decision but handily iirc, Gadelha Casey more worthy of 5 rounds IMO if they don't add a bigger bout.

This was his previous girlfriend. Jessy Jess, aussie fighter who fights for Invicta. (full disclosure, she's a friend of mine)

Carla Esparza was defending him on facebook saying he's been great to Ashlee (her mate). And Bec Hyatt ripped into her saying it's disgraceful that she gives anti abuse seminars, then turns around and defends him.
I normal dislike Hyatt, but she's dead right there.
