How are we looking numbers wise for le raid? Generic will possibly have two or three buddies in with him. Do we have enough for two groups?

I have me and 3 others good to go sometime around 7:30pm, maybe a 4th (waiting on a reply). I'd be giving Cal 1st refusal as he replied and we need a 2nd proficient sword runner for the Crota Challenge to get it done in a timely fashion. So if we have you also, that's 6, and Nev/Totz makes 6 if my mate doesn't reply or can't make it

Anyone have a Crota checkpoint? would like to get the youngfella his Necro before he goes on his holidays.

I'm still planning to do KF later on in the week with him and two of his mates, probably just the first few encounters just to get them some raid experience.

I'm good for either if you need bodies. Can even bring a titan instead of a warlock this time, so I can do more than come back to life

I think he's teeing up his mates for 2000 tonight, I think it'll just be the 290 light version (really just for flags and frags) as one lad's gear wouldn't be up to the later versions and I can't be ars3d with the hard mode mechanics.

I'm off early today, might try to squeeze in something around 1700 or so. I'm not around tomorrow (but iceninja is) and the family are on hols from Friday so I'll run his character through it if we can't do it today.

Thanks a million to Carruth, Nev and Nocal for their help with the Totems / WP / Godzilla (:)) and the Sisters last night with the youngfellas. With only a handful of wipes on each encounter By doing each encounter first time, every time, the lads had a ball and I even got a new shotty to toy around with and some flags on my Titan.

I never thought we'd get to the big fella himself (yes, it is a lot easier than I thought on the 290 light version) yet there we were, under two hours from totems to Oryx, including an almost 20 min break while RL stuff was done.

We 4-manned the bit at the start (a bit hard with poxy phalanxes pushing you off the ledges) and the jumping puzzle took a while, even with the checkpoint half way, but I can now say I know what to do there (even though I can still screw up easily enough).

The nipper is delighted with his raid fragments, almost done with the ToM quest now, he might get it tonight before he heads to Spain for the next while but I suspect once D2 comes out in September he'll not be too bothered if he finishes it or not.

Sorry, a hangover* from my MMORPG days - I meant getting a part / step of a quest done. In Everquest, for some high-end raid zones you had to do subquests to access then (sometimes there were several layers of quests to do) and each step done added a flag to your character.

Also, it rhymes with frags
