Pull up progression

I have a question on strict pull up progression that I'm looking for some opinions on.

I am currently doing a 4 day split program (upper, lower, rest, upper, lower rest)

First upper body day is mainly push based and I would do 6 x 6 shoulder width pull ups in the middle of my session.

Second upper body day is more focused on pulling, so I would start out the session with 4 x 10 pull ups.

I know I should start varying the grips style and width for these. Have seen decent progression improving the number of reps per set doing what i'm doing. I generally add in additional reps so long as I don't go to failure and build from there.

At what point do people advise adding in weighted pull ups? From what I can see, there are no weight belts in UCD, so how do people recommend adding weights to their pull ups? I have tried holding dumbbells with my feet (legs at full extension) but id prefer a better solution if there is one
