Muammar Gaddafi or Saddam Hussein, probably Gaddafi, the world would not be such a messy place with him still in it.

If, on his return, he informs us that the religious folk were actually right about heaven and hell you'll have to kill him again though. Which would be hard, I'm sure.

Poor auld Kurt Cobain. He's the only star I've ever cried over and I reckon he'd still be making great music if he was still around.

Hitler's rise to power isn't that crazy. Right place, right time...for him obviously.

But, it was simply a matter of a good speaker capitalising on a chaotic period in the history of Europe. It really could have happened anywhere at any time.

I'd like to get him back too, just to hear what he'd have to say about how the world turned out...so long as I could pull the plug again. ;)

J Dilla. An absolute genius. To think he made his magnum opus on his deathbed is incredible.

Honourable mention would have to be Aaliyah. 22 years young...mental

For similar reasons, I'd say Alan Turing.

33 posts in and no one mentions Jacko, his legacy will always be tainted by his weirdness though.

For me its Freddie Mercury, all 4 original Queen members together again for one last tour.

There is a very good documentary on Netflix about Tesla, a person way ahead of his time.

Jacko was a spent force by the time he died.

Another Queen tour would be most cool though.

I went to their last one in '86 & like most attending, I had no idea that it would be their last.

Given the year that's in it.
Would love to hear Luke Kelly singing "The Foggy Dew" live on a spring morning somewhere in Dublin.

Newton,Planck or Einstein. They were years and decades ahead of their time when science had nothing. Imagine what they could come up with with access to a modern computer and instant access to every database ever.
