That Kendrick song is great, i get the impression that he has a few songs like this in the bag that will eventually come out on some sort of compilation thing.

Kanye is back doing his Friday drops, not sure if they'll be album cuts like the last time or loosies. This new one is the best he's put out in a long time though, he's rapping again which is nice! Preview of another track at the end produced by Madlib and featuring Kendrick

Why couldn't he put that on the damm album along with that great untitled song he did on the Colbert report? I downloaded it and play it on my phone regularly, and it's better than almost everything on the album.

I don't want to get into this debate, and call me a philistine if you want but I did not enjoy much of TPAB.

Kanye has tweeted his album's tracklist (presumably, as it's impossible to read). I'm almost disappointed that Real Friends and No More Parties in LA are on there, with it only being 10 tracks long. Then again, it is the best album of all time, so who am I to judge?:pac:

The Life of Pablo was finally released this morning some time. At least 2 listens ago anyway. It is very very good so far, one or two weaker tracks, so he was probably right to admit it was only one of the greatest albums of all time.:P Hard to describe the album as a whole; it kind of includes features of most of his other albums, and each track works as a standalone, but they still all fit together.

Ultralight Beam, Father Stretch My Hands 1+2, Wolves(with a new Frank Ocean verse) are probably standing out the most to me so far.

Only available to stream through Tidal:mad: for a week, the download doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Hopefully will be on iTunes or in physical form then.

I had to sign up for a month trial, and give them paypal details before streaming, but I just cancelled the subscription again straight away, and you still get the free month.

Turns out the real thing has 18 tracks, "Waves" being the late addition. Also, the skit is called "I Love Kanye" now rather than "I Miss The Old Kanye". I have yet to listen, but it's loaded onto my iPod ready to go for later this evening.

Maybe they don't know yet that they want TLOP as their present. And you could listen to it together.

You might be as disappointed as I was at Andre 3000's contribution.:P

Waves should have been on the list of stand-outs too, even though Chris Brown's voice is highly annoying. If only it was any of the other featured artists instead.:(

I'll be happy with this album as long as it has some hint off "old Kanye". Besides Black Skinhead which is strictly played by me for the gym/before a match, Yeezus was horribly disappointing. Don't let me down Kanye.

Kanye's new album is an absolute mess: Gospel, trap, soul, even some house influences, some of his worst lyrics along with some of his best, it's all over the place, like a Picasso painting...but it works!

It's a much better album than it has any right to be, mostly down to the samples/production/hooks which are all majestic, I must have played Father Stretch My Hands part 1 15 times already, Metro Boomin destroyed that beat! That, Chance on Ultra Light Beams, the 2ND half of Famous and the stretch from Waves-Wolves are serious highlights for me

That's a much better way of describing it than my attempt. After that fashion-show/laptop-AUX-cord/flying-horses album launch I was worried it was not going to end up well at all, but somehow he did it.

I'm strangely liking Desiigner's verse on Father pt. 2, like a slightly less jarring Future, and even has the Metro Boomin production to match.

Still haven't heard the album but I heard and saw about that on Twitter. Complete freak out as expected, exactly what Kanye wants. The man is simply a genius.

Ive had Real Friends on loop all day in preparation for a hopefully amazing album layer and the beat is hypnotic enough but now I feel in a complete trance :pac:

Finally got to listen to the album, first impression is I've never heard an album like it before. Everything I wanted from a Kanye album in 2016. Had me laughing out loud one minute after a line he drops and breaking my neck to the bassline and drums the next minute, super progressive production too, a mix of everything he's done would mashed together would be the best way to describe it! Far too early to make a call on it yet but I'm hard pressed to find many faults after one listen. Feedback, Famous, Ultralight Beams, FML & Fade being the standouts right now. If Fade isn't played in every club I go to this summer I'll be disappointed!

That Andre feature was such a Kanye thing to do as well so I couldn't help but laugh and love it :pac:

I really don't like it at all. The album is a classic case of too many cooks spoiling the broth. TWENTY TWO different producers worked on it. The album is all over the place. The only song I liked was "fade".

Comparing this to the masterpiece that was Late Registration really does make me miss the old Kanye.
