Frozen veg & fish / meat - meal?

    Hey

I have got into a habit of coming home late from work, and just microwaving loads of frozen veg, and steaming salmon / chicken for dinner. It's just easy, and I'd flavour it with black pepper and garlic. I'd add beans sometimes, or else fry some steak. But, veg-wise, it's always frozen veg microwaved.

Is there anything wrong with this? I would have been quite good at cooking meals for the week, but the availability of ingredients is quite limited where I'm living, and I'm usually quite wrecked after work at the moment so I've been going with the easy option.

Nothing wrong at all. Frozen veg is usually frozen very quickly after being picked, whereas most "fresh" veg is a few days old by the time you eat it.

I'd be worried frozen veg from the microwave might not be very appetising but it's perfectly nutritious!

    Thank you.

Yep - frozen veg can be very bland, but black pepper and garlic makes it nice enough.
