I had a few banners and balloons up when himself finished his exams for his Masters degree. Other than that no.

    Do you collect anything?

I had a packet of crisps and a Twix.

    Do you like Twixs?

I do...I bite off the caramelly bit first then the biscuit. Had an orange one a while back...very tasty it was.

Do you consider the following lyric from 'Maggie' by Rod Stewart as being a fairly crappy rhyme?

'All you did was wreck my bed
and in the morning kick me in the head'

Yeah it's fairly lame but the first line has me intrigued

Have you ever trapped a nerve somewhere

Not often, I'm partial to a bag of tayto cheese and onion though.

    I don't think so. I'm guessing I'd probably know if I did.

Did you lick batteries as a child?

Touching a battery to your tongue is a good way to see if there is any charge in it or if it is dead!
But dont be doing it with more than 12 volts....or anything that is plugged in to a wall socket.

How has your day been so far?

It's been good enough, nothing to write home about but grand

    How cold are you today

I am ok, its twenty degrees in this room so comfy enough.

What song was number 1 in the irish or uk charts on the day you were born?

I like Jazz and have Jazz fm constantly playing at home at the moment.

Have you ever been to see Ballet?

    Many times

    What's your favourite opera?

    Coronation St.

Assuming you can't play the drums, can you resist sitting in behind a kit and bating the ****e out of it even though you haven't a clue?

Ever slap off the ground in icy conditions?

Fell on ice during the snow of 2010. Managed to badly injure my wrist but my phone was okay

Ever had a near death experience?

    Yes, about 3 times.

Have you ever been seriously ill?

Not once. I have had a big health scare but nothing came of it. Have never been in hospital and the most serious illness was a dose of shingles. I am very lucky so far!

If visiting someones house would you bring a pack of biscuits or something?

I always bring something, my mother taught me never to go to someone's house empty-handed!

    Are you a good host?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Menas

Not really. There would never be biscuits in the house (all eaten) and I would be slow to be making coffee and tea for guests. Just not very attentive.

Could you, or have you, host a large (10+) dinner party?

I'd love to have people over for dinner but the stress of having different things ready to serve at the same time means I've never done it. If I could use caterers then yes I would host.

    Do you have any tattoos?
