Dell precision m4700 keeps restarting

    Hi guys,

    Not sure whether this is the correct place to post this so mods feel free to move if needed.

    I have a Dell precision m4700 that keeps restarting at odd times. I have run all of the hardware diagnostic tests and nothing has been flagged. It simply restarts when I am using the computer. Sometimes it will restart after 5 mins of use, other times after an hour or so. I managed to run a malware and virus scan and this seems all clear.

    When it does restart the power button appears not to work and I have to take the battery out so that it will stop a restart/boot loop.

    Any ideas would be gratefully received.
