I don't think so, Falcons aren't up to much and the close call last week will galvanise the Panters squad I'd imagine.

Bengals @ broncos looked like a great matchup before Andy Dalton got injured. Now it's McCarron vs the lobster

    Raiders tonight

Good start for the Chargers here. Nice play from Reyes to get the INT from his own tip. It results in a TD a few plays later. I'd love a San Diego win here as a Ravens fan purely for draft position purposes.

Horrific defensive play from the Chargers. Just awful. 7-7.

A good draft and maybe a bit of work in the FA market this offseason and the Raiders could be a very serious team next season I think.

The same can be said for the Chargers too, especially with a top draft pick. They're probably a year behind where the Raiders are but if they have a good draft and free agency they should have a very solid, competitive team. It has the makings of being one the toughest divisions next year.

Be interesting to see if Rivers stats with the Chargers much longer. He is wasting MVP level seasons in dumpster fire of a team. Slap in a team like the Texans or Rams and he could do some serious damage.

To be fair to the Chargers this year, they were crippled by injuries. Still not Super Bowl caliber, but definitely playoff worthy, and with a good offseason, I can see them doing well next year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,961 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

They need a clear out in the coaching department.

Wrecked this morning, that was a LOOOONG game. So many flags (including the one over the play clock, love the wave he gave the camera). Delighted for Woodson to leave home on a win.

I would absolutely hate to visit the Raiders, those terrible towels have *nothing* on the black hole.

    Eagles tonight.

    Colts
    Buccs
    Chiefs
    Patriots
    Bills
    Panthers
    Lions
    Titans
    Steelers
    Saints
    Seahawks
    Cardinals
    Vikings
    Broncos

Not much time to think about these selections. Hope I get to see some of them.

It really has been a bit unfortunate; the guy is pretty polarising but I quite like him, and like you said it's been a shame how he's been wasted there for the last good 7-8 years. He's better than the likes of Romo, Eli, etc and possibly even Ben in my opinion, but it wouldn't matter if you had a combo of (prime) Peyton/Brady/Rodgers on that squad... they'd still be going nowhere.

I would say he would be very welcome in the Mile High City.

What's Denver's cap situation like? Could imagine them going for him if the chance arose. Rams too, but it would hardly solve the super bowl ring problem for him...Would imagine the Texans would go quids in to get him though.

Completely forgot there was a game tonight! Pleasant surprise to realise Redskins @ Eagles kicks off shortly in a very important game in terms of the playoff race. :)

Feels like a playoff game... EJ Biggers having a big role in a play off game... could be a long night...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

Any reason they can't just call it 'Saturday night football' , rather than 'Thursday night football - Saturday night edition'.

Something got to do with college football having the traditional hold on Saturday night football?

Great start to the game for the Eagles O.

Don't get to say that too often but very solid drive all round.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

Put Murray in and the offense falls apart... just don't play the guy ffs. He doesn't suit us at all.

Jordon Reed could break records tonight. :(

Have the skins missed an extra point ?

Grand stuff saw the score but have only put it on live ten minutes ago.

Right knee was down. No turnover there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

What the **** ? His knee was down clearly Walt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

Is there some other camera they didn't show us??? Looked clear as day that he was down

Joke non overturn there, not surprised though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

A redskins td off this drive will be a right kick in the balls after a call like that and with the redskins taking possession to start the second half too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

A pick there for Jenkins on 2nd down would have been huge, holding them to 3 is some comfort though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

****ing idiotic penalty stopping the clock for the redskins as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

Cousins helping the Eagles out big time :p  bit of a bizarre end of the half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

    I liked that, Kirk.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,450 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Lmfao, Cousins takes a knee instead of spiking the ball and the clock runs out to halftime. I can only imagine what Jay Gruden is going to say to him in the locker room. :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

I think he did it twice. Before the Eagles called a time out it looked like he took a knee.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

Captain Kirk giving the Colts some stiff competition for dumbest play of the year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

The eagles should have got done for delay of game.

As a neutral it makes the game a lot better though. Well done Kirk. I liked that.
