A LBP here could be enough to get Munster one of the best runner up spots

Actually expect Munster to win today, think the last 7 days have been a much needed kick up the arse in the province

    Good defence especially I thought.

Keatley just missed what looked like a fairly kickable penalty there, is it windy?

Is there much wind (have no sound)? Kinda expected Keatley to knock it over.

Good start from Munster. Could do with a big score while they are on top.

Good start from Munster. Could do with a big score while they are on top.

only problem is they are not really threatening a score. similar to last week

I not only want but expect Munster to win this

Well at least we held out there.

    Tackle without the ball?

    Try Leicester

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,290 ✭✭✭aimee1

thats well against the balance of play. one real go and a try after 6-7 phases

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

So much good work undone by some soft pillar defending which is very much at odds with the focus and intensity of the opening quarter from Munster.

    Ooh another scrap!

Some sloppy play by Munster, poor execution when they had possession in the final third.

Try was too easy for Leicester as well

Was just thinking the same, he's had a few great catches throughout this match so far.

garces doesnt seem too bothered about players coming in from the side at every beakdown

Yep they are very scrappy, but isn't he known for that?

Big moment to get nothing. Also suggests they're losing faith in Keatley's goal kicking to pass up 3 point shot in a tight game.

And leicester players making no attempt to roll away

    Drift defense is shocking though

both sides are at that equally. they all know garces doesnt ref the breakdown too heavily

Good defence there to prevent a try

was only a scrum advantage i think

Zebo got a punch in the face while he was lying on the ground a minute ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,972 ✭✭✭captbarnacles

Terrible call. Ball was still moving.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

Tigers are wasteful. They look a little lazy in attack, to be honest. Munster getting in over ball with Tiger forwards ambling to the ruck.

Munster still every chance of winning this.

Yellow Leicester - that'll help! And Keats gets the 3.

Maybe he heard us, he's just given Leicester a yc for being offside.

Excellent last 2/3 minutes of the half!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,536 ✭✭✭case885

Standers turnover huge there, leads to a yc and hopefully 3 points

Poor game so far. Munster have done ok. Stander upping his game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 161 ✭✭Triumvirate

That's a very harsh yellow. Really dumb but it was hardly a try scoring opportunity or on a warning and impeded scrum half minimally?

Munster will be delighted with how this has gone.

10-6 at half time and we have a man advantage for 9 more mins

Interesting yellow card. So Kitchener can't come back on after the head-injury-assessment (assuming he passes it) until the 10 minutes are up?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,070 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Very little threat from Munster in open play

We need to be getting beyond the game line and get quicker ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,551 ✭✭✭Goldstein

Dave Foley and Chisholm won't enjoy the analysis of that Leicester try.

Hopefully we can put our heads down and get a score or two now while they're down to 14.

**** ya. Great miss pass by Murray to Cronin.

    Is Dave O'Callaghan Donncha's brother?

**** ya. Great miss pass by Murray to Cronin.

    2 yards forward.

Saili takes too much from the ball at times.

We really had to score there, if we don't score while they're a man down then we're in trouble
