Chromecast Issue

    Hi all

    I'm having an issue with my Chromecast which was working perfectly for the last year.

    When I go to the correct HDMI port on my TV, I have a black screen. Yet when I plug the Chromecast out and back again I get Chromecast (in White Writing) on the screen for a few seconds before it goes black again.

    I've tried factory reseting it but it didn't work.

    My phone is picking up the Chromecast Wifi though!

    Any suggestions for a fix would be appreciated.

    Thats odd.Did you try another hdmi socket?Or the chromecast on another tv?

    Have tried several ports but not another TV. Will try that! I've no problem buying another one but I'd be afraid its a TV issue.
