PW Boards Spotlight #1 Lithium93

Well its the kickoff edition of the brand spanking new PW Boards Spotlight thread.
For those unaware of this concept, each week a different member of the PW Boards community is highlighted in a thread, and the rest of the community gets to fire wrestling related questions at him. The aim of the spotlight thread is to simply get to know each poster that little bit better and its a great way to grandstand and hotdog about yourself if highlighted.

There are a few rules that should be followed :

1. Questions should be Pro Wrestling related although some leeway is allowed e.g. TV and Film interests (Stuff we all talk about in the Off-Topic Thread)
2. Let's not have questions that are too personal. The poster doesn't have to answer anything they don't want to.
3. Moderator has final decision on what questions are appropriate or deemed too personal or unrelated.
4. No discussion of poster's answers in the thread (follow up questions are ok)
5. Only the poster should be answering the questions.
6. There is a limit of 3 questions per poster though you may follow each of those questions up if needed.

1. Hmmmm, my favourite wrestler, Edge without a shadow of a doubt, he in my opinion had it all as a wrestler, his Rated R Superstar gimmick really cemented him, it's a shame his neck injury forced his premature retirement, but better safe than sorry i suppose.

2. The first wrestling match i remember watching and thinking my god this is awesome was The Undertaker vs Jeff Hardy in a ladder match for the undisputed WWE championship way back in 2002, the rest is history..

3. I accidentally found the PW Boards, was a long time lurker prior to signing up, plus it's a more friendlier laid back place (putting the mods over here) than the cliquishness that can be found on Reddit's Squared Circle sub reddit.

1. Thank you, thank you very much , it's actually means a lot, going from Newcomer Of The Year to the prestigious Best In The World, a meteoric rise, and said rise will continue into 2016, what's next for me, who knows maybe a run as Moderator could be on the cards..

1. That's a tricky one, he's had so many good ones, as part of Edge & Christian, and also as a Single's star.. As part of Edge & Christian - Wrestlemania X-7 and THAT spear to Jeff Hardy.. And as a single's star, Wrestlemania 21 and winning the first ever Money In The Bank Ladder Match..

Only for Kevin Owens to gleefully interrupt, planting his flag for a run with the WWE World Heavyweight Title, then at the Royal Rumble, just as Brock is about to win, have Owens eliminate Lesnar, infuriating both Lesnar & Heyman, Lesnar goes on multiple rampages demanding Owens head, post Rumble through to Fastlane, Owens continues to bait The Beast, teasing will it/won't it, while Heyman & Owens go back and forth on the mics building it up, then the go home show prior to Mania, have them both sign the contract making the match official, massive brawl between the 2, Lesnar puts Owens over as a passing of the torch as the next major monster in the company.

1. My username comes from the Nirvana song Lithium & '93, the year i was born, not really sure where the underscore came from

2. Current favourite day wrestler, that can and usually change on a daily basis, landed on Kevin Owens today..

The one storyline i didn't understand was the whole live sex celebration with Lita, I thought it was cheesy, what should've been done instead is the celebration happening off screen, some one then getting a hold of said tape and using it as leverage against Edge for a WWE Championship match

Also the match with Triple H & Vladimir Kozlov at Survivor Series 2008 was a head scratching one, why not have just left it between Triple H & Kozlov to duke it out for the title.

Would loved to have seen the Mick Foley feud drawn out a bit more.. Some potential there and the opportunity for a cool tag team..

I might take part in the PW Draft if i'm back in the country before the sign up deadline has passed, if not I will follow it closely..

If i got first pick of any wrestler, i would definitely build my promotion around Brock Lesnar

I am a Manchester United supporter through and through, i do follow other sports such as the NFL (even though i have no understanding of it rules wise) prior to last February's Super Bowl, i had correctly guessed the winners from Super Bowl 45 through 48, my only regret I didn't put money on my predictions :pac: Sometimes follow Chicago Blackhawks games as well.

I've a gut feeling that the NXT superstar to be Roman Reignsed on us by Vince & his band of merry stooges will be Apollo Crews, strange choice i know, but again gut feeling.

Books i can most definitely recommend, Dave Mustaine's autobiography, Slash's autobiography, Nikki Sixx's The Heroin Diaries, Ozzy Osbourne's I AM OZZY, Duff McKagan's It's So Easy: And Other Lies, I read a lot of autobiographys :pac:.. 1. I will say chairs, never know when ya'd need to sit down

To answer your first question KKkitty, I haven't seen much of Stephanie running things on screen, though behind the scenes/off camera i am sure she does a lot of things that aren't usually noticed, unless you're sharp eyed and can spot said things.. As for Triple H, well i point you in the direction of NXT and the damned fine job he is doing with it..

As for both of them running things, I am sure we'll find out when Vince eventually stands down and rides off into the sunset, and basing it on Triple H's running of NXT, I would say the company is/will be in safe hands when Vince does call it a day.

Most under rated wrestler - Zack Ryder,

I do see longevity for them and success to boot, though when Finn Balor does eventually get called up to the main roster, i'd like to see all 3 of them form a faction..

1. A hostile force invades WWE, and 7 of their best wrestlers must defend the company from said hostile force, think Avengers, but with a WWE twist..

2. Walter White's - You're God Damn Right gets used a lot, Stone Cold's Stomping a mudhole and walking it dry, Gimme A Hell Yeah, Ric Flair's Wooo, and a whole lot more

WWE's biggest missed opportunity, Zack Ryder getting over by himself, and the powers that be absolutely ballsing it up, there was a lot of potential there..

1. TLC match from Wrestlemania X-7, Taker/Mankind Hell In A Cell, CM Punk/John Cena Money In The Bank 2011

2. Can think of a few in WWE alone, Goldust, Ted DiBiase, Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, WCW, Steven Regal, Terry Funk, that's all i can think off, really need to expand my wrestling viewing.

3. Oooh more fantasy booking
- Have both come back prior to TLC
- Declare that the WWE Tag Team Championship scene reeks, and not of awesomeness
- Have The New Day interrupt said declaration
- Edge and Christian tell The New Day to put up or shut
- The New Day accepts, and title match set for the Royal Rumble
- Edge & Christian win at the Rumble by D.Q due to Xavier and his trombone interfering
- Both teams trade victories back and forth after the Rumble, and it all comes to a head at Summerslam in the match Edge & Christian helped make popular.
- Both teams deliver a 5 Star Classic, that can sit proudly along with the other TLC matches
- Edge & Christian win the tag team titles and start their 8th reign as Tag Team Champions
- They then drop the titles at Survivor Series to The New Day (after they've run through and delivered excellent matches with the rest of the tag team division)
- Edge and Christian is a gracious spot of showmanship, raise The New Day's hand in victory, declaring that they reek of awesomeness

4. Don't have a favourite Britney Spears song

5. Both actually, though not at the same time of course.
