Has anyone downloaded the full 60gb download for the game on ps4? Was working away fine till it downloaded the first part now it's stuck on 14gb going about 1mb a minute with 99+ hours left! My internet is fine so just wondering is it me or the download in general for everyone.

Its saying release is 11pm IST on 17th. Is that IST Indian standard time :pac::pac: +5.5 hours so 5.30pm?

Same for me, was on 17gb at 3pm...it's now on 21gb. Have paused and restarted it a few times but no change. Leave PS4 in rest mode overnight if you can.

Yeah just going to leave it in rest mode overnight, reckon it's getting bombarded with downloads at the moment.

Nice to play a game that feels like its optimised nicely with SLI unlike the rubbish I've seen lately with Mafia 3 and Deus Ex

I realised why I was so so terrible for most of the trial. I had DX12 enabled and it was causing input lag for some reason. Switched back to DX11 and my problems disappeared. I can kill things now! Also this game looks super on Ultra.

Anybody else get poor performance with their mouse on the trial on PC had to use the xb1 controller because my mouse is was too inaccurate. Its like its following a grid when aiming with it. The same mouse was used in the beta with no problems and in BF4 its as smooth as butter. I disabled raw mouse input in settings and it seemed to help a little bit but it is still very choppy. Had to check to see if mouse acceleration was enabled and that's disabled in windows anyway.

Had no bother in the beta with it and was using both controller and mouse/keyboard. I disconnected the controller and started the game that seemed to help a little bit too but its still very choppy.

Using a Tracer Flipper RF mouse it has a DPI button highest DPI is 1600 (400 800 1600 dpi settings)

Just hope its fixed come release. Had a search and seen people with mouse lag problems but not the problem I was getting. Actually the problem I was getting, search results showed BF3 and 4 threads.

The only other thing I can think of is GeForce experience being open in the background and its FPS overlay enabled. I have a couple of hours left on the trial will quit out of GeForce tomorrow and see if there's any change.

Irish Standard Time, our current timezone, so it's local time in Ireland.

It's quite confusing for PS4. The timer is going to midnight, but the pre-order email says 11pm on 17th. It would make sense from the point of us being an hour behind mainland Europe but I've never seen the launch timer lose an hour

Irish summer time, same as British summer time. It's going to go back to GMT on the bank holiday.

the usual vpn trick is reported to be working if you want to play at midday today.

But it comes with the usual Caveat that you could get banned for doing it. But I havnt heard of anyone getting banned in the previous 3 battlefield titles doing this.

Bah I hate it when things go live at 11pm. I got work the next morning and battlefield games leave my brain racing when I try to sleep straight after.

I think I'll have to skip playing tonight and just continue tomorrow :P

4 days off work starting tomorrow. Something I always wanted but butter sweet as I am not as pumped for this game as I was for earlier BF titles.

Where did you see this option to switch between DX11/12? They really need to sort the options out and label stuff more clearly. Why da fook do they have an option of exceeding the GPU memory anyway? (no doubt someone will enlighten me post haste!!)

I too lost most of the trial setting the fookin thing up, I think I got about 2 hrs of pure bliss before it ended last night.

Really looking forward to the full game now. We will have to get teamspeak or the like up to discuss settings and tweaks and get a few squads going, we will rank up so quick healing and resupplying each other. I only managed to get to rank 13 in the trail :mad:

It's right at the top of the advanced graphics settings if I recall correctly. It defaulted to DX11 but I decided to switch it to DX12 and then paid the price!

The GPU memory option, I presume, works the other way around. If you set textures to Ultra, for example, but you only had a 4GB card you would probably exceed your GPU's memory capacity. I took that option to mean that it will prevent this.

Defaulted to DX 12 for me, no drivers fom AMD not sure about Nvidia. But I assume they be out this week and Dx12 will work as intended.

Fup it. Couldn't get the morning off so I'm taking a half day in the afternoon and Wednesday off instead :P

Reviews are coming out from various sources. 9-9.5/10 across the board.

I need to stick with DX11 until obs sorts their $hit and gets recording to work with 12.
