I have had a look on revenue, and as with a lot of their site, I am none the wiser! My simple enough question is....

My employer pays 100% of my health insurance, which is €1050 a year, €105 a month gets added to my basic pay, and under deductions on my pay slip it accumulates bik of €105 every month. Am I able to claim any of this back on year end?

You can't claim bik. It's like he had given you €1050 extra in the year. What you can claim if you aren't already is the tax relief on the medical insurance premium of 1050. If you paid this yourself privately you would get tax relief at source on it. When your employer pays it on your behalf you need to claim that relief manually via Revenue.

No matter how much is paid, relief is now capped on Medical Insurance to 1000 per person covered (or 500 in the case of children)
