NSR in Cork are based in the Naval Base, they meet on Tue nights from 20.00 to 22.00hrs.
From Oct to May it is mainly class room training and weapons training, from May on it is water borne training in RIBs or the NS yacht Tailte. You will under go 2 weeks full time Rec training in the NS College as well as weekends to pass out.
It is a pretty interesting and varied organisation, you get to go to sea with the fleet, do excellent civilian recognised courses in the NMCI. You also meet great friends. Try it you have nothing to lose.
