Young Harold. I'll be shocked if he doesn't blank though

KDB is my initial thinking but Kane and Mr Consistent not far behind though.

KDB or Kane. Will probably play safe and go Kane though.

MNF captain worked again last week.

MNF game will be Leicester - Chelsea. Vardez or Hazard are tempting...

    --

    Again, here's my updated table.

    3 columns.
    MNF. Monday Night Football (C).
Obvious. FSA (C) poll in order of importance. In most cases, the first choice (e.g. Agüero up to his injury) or the first 2 choices are miles ahead of the others.
Unexpected. The ones who performed but where not very popular for captaincy on the forum.
And, in red, the obvious MNF (C) who worked a treat.

Kane provided he gets rested on Thursday night

If I get Kane in for Aguero which is highly likely then I'll captain him.

MNF this season has actually led to fewer goals than other time slots: http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2015/11/25/say-what-12/?hc_page=1#hc_comment_11927859

    Average Goals Per Game: 2.71

    Saturday 17:30: 3.10
    Sunday 16:00/16:15: 3.00
    Sunday 12:00/13:30/14:00: 2.92
    Saturday 15:00: 2.72
    Monday 20:00: 2.13
    Friday 19:45/Saturday 12:45: 2.08

That was before the last two GWs so not sure what effect it will have on the others, but MNF goes slightly down with the two goals yesterday

Interesting ;). But it doesn't make the "obvious" MNF captains bad options either ;). That said, I don't know if I'll have the balls to go with a Leicester lad considering Mourinho could park the bus (and succeed).

Maybe I should search for Ranieri-Mourinho H2H history.

Between Lukaku and Ighalo for me. KDB has been shooting too many blanks.

Kane has the better fixture but Lukaku is in fantastic form.

I also can't get the game a couple of years ago or so out of my head - Spurs were all over Newcastle but couldn't get past Tim Krul.

KDB is never going to be a real captaincy shout for me. He benefits when Aguero is playing and isn't reliable when he's not.

This time he's up against Elliot though.

    Leaning toward Lukaku/Kane

Just brought in Alli for Wanyama and have played my All Out Attack boost

Could easily put the arm band on KDB too

    front 8
    Ozil - KDB - Alli - Mahrez - Barkley

    Vardy - Kane - Lukaku

He was taken off early last night so should get the full 90 and is at home. The home game edges it for me over kane.

Had it on Rambo, until I saw this thread and found out Kane is playing Newcastle.

    Thanks chaps!

Have switched to Kane as well. I can just feel a haul coming!

Going with the safe option, captaining Kane as well.

Even I don't dare look past Kane this week :)

Has to be Lukaku for me.
Ozil will be vice captain ahead of KDB.

Giroud has 4 goals over the last week -
    Kane hasn't scored in last 2 GW's.
Newcastle beat Liverpool at the weekend and will be on the up.

Lukaku and Ozil are also in better form, so don't really see where the Kane love is coming from.

Going with Kane. Gave serious consideration to Ozil but I just have a feeling Newcastle will return to being, well Newcastle, this weekend!

Not 100% confident in the choice but decision is made!

There does seem to be an argument that Newcastle play better when televised. Only seems to be the Sunderland and West Ham matches where they've been embarrassed on the tele.

I just can't look past Kane this GW for captain. Sure his stats the last two GWs are rubbish but he played a Chelsea team that parked the bus and a Pulis side in bad weather conditions. Otherwise, his form and underlying stats have been top of most tables.

Going for Giroud. Because I'm a sucker for punishment!

Given how high his captaincy is likely to be not having him is definitely going to make it an interesting weekend!

It's not a Tottenham match unless I'm watching from behind the couch :o Have Alli & Alder though so hopefully if Kane does decide to go mad it comes from them!

Went with the somewhat safe option of Kane. Really considered taking a risk with KdB. Swansea have been terrible of late but there's the new manager bounce effect to take into account now.
