There have been so many of these threads, and there's one in the PC section that I mistakenly wrote in thinking it was a general gaming thread.

If there's a thread for this in this forum, sorry!!

    Anyway, here's what I've been playing;

    Playstation 2
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (I got the Sands of Time Trilogy this week, oh the nostalgia :) )

    Xbox One
    Fallout 4
    WWE 2K16

    PS4
BlOps 3 - I'm really impressed with it. It feels like the BlOps of old, but different enough to be a completely new type of game. And very different to AW.
Rogue Legacy - When i initially played this, i wasn't too impressed, but the further on you go, and more you level up, the more the game is drawing me in. Helps tremendously that it can be continued on the Vita, work nights are no longer dull!
Need for Speed - The latest patch has improved a few things, and it's really a current gen Underground, so all good.
Spelunky - Only recently gave this a go, not sure if i'll continue with it.

    PC
MGSV - Still go back to it for quick bursts of single missions, but my interest is more or less gone.

Pc - dark souls.(7 hours in, loving and hating it all at once, frustratingly addictive)
Ps4 - destiny (less now but still dipping, damn you addictive destiny)
Wii U - Mario Maker (also frustratingly addictive)
Xbox360 - resident evil 5 (coop online with my brother when we get a chance)
Vita - Y's memories of celceta (must go back to this actually)

My next big change from the above will probably be..
    Street Fighter V in February
    and
Fast Racing Neo on Wii U on the 10th December when it releases.

3DS - Pokemon Picross (why have I never heard of this Picross stuff before?)

WiiU - not playing Xenoblade X (thanks a lot, stupid mail system  )

I've been trying to finish it for 3 years.

I just can't find the enthusiasm required to look at it again!

I've 16 hours racked up on it and i'm probably still only half way :pac:

    I'm in between games again.

I played through GTAV and Assassins Creed: Black Flag but now I'm sitting here looking at my Steam catalogue and can't decide what to play next, pretty much because I've played all of them and beaten most of them.

Tried MGS5 and just couldn't get into it, same with Fallout 4. This might be the worst thing to happen to anyone ever.

I'm playing fallout 4, like every other gamer right now .-.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,160 ✭✭✭tok9

I'm currently travelling so I only have the vita with me and I've gone back and restarted Final Fantasy 9. I had a previous save in disc 2 but I forgot everything so it was best to restart.

Over 30 hours in now, I imagine I'll be on disc 4 pretty soon.

Tomb Raider 2013 on the PS3. Basically an Uncharted clone, but quite enjoyable nonetheless. The origin storyline is pretty decent. I'm about 60% of the way through it after 2 solid gaming shifts with it.

Bioshock Infinite up after this one, picked up both in CEX this week for just e18, so not a bad deal

Finished Final Fantasy 9 there (think that's the first I've actually finished too!)

Now that Bastion is on Vita I'll probably play that next.

Pc - dark souls.(7 hours in, loving and hating it all at once, frustratingly addictive)

    I envy you.

Do not play another second until you've applied the fix.
It's called DSfix (you'll have to google it cause I can't post links)

It removes the artificial frame rate and resolution limits that were left in from the console versions.

I'm Playing Elite Dangerous. It rocks!

Just finished a couple of games so I'm looking for something else to get stuck in. Still stuck on a PS3.

Thief: It's really quite shít but I want to see it through to the end. Near enough to the end on this but I can't muster the enthusiasm to finish it.

Heavy Rain: Only started it. The part where I was feeding and helping the kid out with homework was especially riveting.

Assassin's Creed Rogue: I was playing this and instead of quitting to main menu I exited the memory which meant I lost what I was after doing for the previous hour. Kind of pissed me off but I'll get stuck back into it in a while.

God of War: Ascension: Played about half of it but got bored. Will maybe go back to it over the Christmas break.

    Scrap mechanic.
Still haven't managed to make a decent flying machine which is actually under a modicum of control...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Back to the Future: Think I am about halfway through it. Enjoyable enough and a throwback to games I grew up playing but there's nothing compelling me to go back and play it.

Halo 4: A replay on the MCC. Have 5 lying there since Christmas but wanted to play through 1-4 before starting. Storyline is much better and a lot less convoluted than I remember although playing 1-3 in quick succession might have helped that. Another 2 levels to go then I will do another play through for any skulls/terminals I missed.

On the Uncharted trilogy at the moment. Gonna start the 3rd this evening.

Also have FO4 on the go as well.

Also gonna give Bloodborne a shot when I've finished with Mr Drake.

    Oh the joys :)

I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS, Xenoblade Chronicles X on the WiiU, Sonic 2 on the 3DS, Truxton on the Megadrive, Elite Dangerous on the Xbox One and Driveclub on the PS4. Lots to be going on with there. I've also got QBert on the way for my Atari 2600, so I expect to be spending some quality time there as well!!

Descent 1, or rather the updated version dxx-rebirth.
    It's held up so well.
I've been ducking and diving around in front of the monitor, real seat of the pants action.

I'm generally flopping between GTA Online, Destiny, Assassins Creed Syndicate and Battlefield 4.

Though I spotted that Mass Effect 1 is on the backwards compatible list so I might boot that up at some stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,883 ✭✭✭✭AndyBoBandy

bought PS3 in January 2013, played all COD's up until GTA5 was released, didn't remove the GTA disc until about 3 weeks ago, and have been playing Gran Turismo 5 pretty much non stop for the last 2/3 weeks.

I'd only be a very casual gamer so I wasn't playing GTA for 2 years solid, there would be periods of a few months here or there where the playstation wasn't even turned on.
