Transferring Gym Membership.

Hi. I want to cancel my gym membership but my gym doesn't do refunds, they will only let me transfer it to somebody else. Is there a secondary market for gym memberships or how do people actually sell these things on? I'm presuming I'm not the first one to be stuck in this situation. All advice appreciated! Wait until a couple of weeks before xmas, slash the price, sell it to someone who's gonna buy one in the new year anyway.

your own facebook page (assuming you have one) might be a good starting point.
