    They are probably flash frozen, mushrooms will also turn to mush upon defrosting if you do them in a regular household freezer. But you see frozen mushroom in some frozen stir fry mixes.

    I love chopping onions, especially the big fat Spanish ones. I find it very therapeutic. :D

    I've seen frozen ones in Tesco, though.

    I guess Ive never looked, would only get frozen peas. Fresh is usually way better though op

    I have only seen them in the last year or so, and was quite surprised, think I saw frozen kidney beans and/or chickpeas too.

    I have not gotten the frozen onions, but reckon they would be handy if you only wanted very little, like for a burger. If cooking a big dish for for several people I would stick with the fresh ones.

    Tesco do misshapen "wonky onions" and other "wonky" veg really cheap, and often they are not even odd looking.
