Same here. I'll hold off until it's actually in my account before I'll say they have their act together though.

Same here - calling Single Payment office for the past month - mine is waiting on Satellite Inspections .......... apparently 8.5k payments were held for satellite inspection, and they're now down to the last few hundred. Mine is still stuck in those - so much for Coveney and his claims that all payments are being made on time.
Best I can get from them is that the inspections are being done by an external company and they "hope to be done by Christmas" - so looking like maybe no payment until 2016. FFS!

When will the 25% top up be paid into the accounts for Young Trained farmers, if they applied for the top up?

    Same boat here,
    Waiting on all bp,
Transfer of entitlements back in may still not sorted like a lot of others.
Rediculus carry on esp for the young farmers starting up,
And then if we do get it in the days before Christmas we may not get it spent, on time, on stuff that was needed and then hit with a tax bill next October,
Although I'm lucky have enough invoices on table to eat up full basic payment, keeping a low profile from these creditors this while,
    Utter joke.

Mother has none yet, transfer of entitlements after dad dying. Of paid in 2016 for 2015, will that affect tax next year?

I think if you talk to your accountant it might be OK - mine has said he'd be OK to put payments into the year they were meant to happen - i.e. if your 2015 arrives in early 2016 it'd be OK to treat it as 2015 income - BUT, please check this out with your own accountant.

if the date on the payment is 2016 it will i assume be in next yrs tax yr.i from personal experience got a hell of a tax bill for 2013 with good milk prices, cattle sales, the single farm payment and then 2 years reps payments been paid in 2013.

We have not as yet received the 27%. I checked on Agfood last week and yesterday and amounts due is blank :(
Phoned our agri advisor/planner and he reckons that it maybe delayed cause we were accepted for GLAS.
Anyone else in the same situation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 641 ✭✭✭lanod2407

Might be off topic slightly - but when are GLAS payments due?

It was promised in early December and then 'before Christmas'; in other words it will probably be March 2016

need to add another persons name to my herd number before year end to make it more tax efficient for 2015 tax next year.
Would it make any difference with dept to add it on at this stage. I have already received the 87% so it won't hold up that payment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 641 ✭✭✭lanod2407

Finally got my payments - Christmas Eve ......... there is a Santa!

Quick question I'm hoping someone may be able to answer:

I got 2 payments - one of them adds up to my SFP & Greening, with ~ €32 withheld for some reason, as yet unknown to me.
The other payment is for "Area of natural constraint 2015" - is this my GLAS payment?

Any help / input greatly appreciated.

    Happy New Year to all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 335 ✭✭ihatewinter

Area of National Constraint is not your GLAS. It is a payment for disadvantaged areas. When your GLAS is paid, it should show up as GLAS online or paper version through the post.

I think the Department is withholding 3% of all National Reserve and Young Farmers Scheme Payments until later this year and then paying it in Feb or March. I don't know why they are doing this
