They wouldn't know if I was dead until weeks from now if I wasn't ****ing informing them now.

From seeing her posts over the last while shes been gradually getting worse,angry and paranoid, since an operation a few months ago. Seems to seek validation from fb. Hopefully she will accept help now.

Her posts appear on my timeline and had got too painful to read. Dreadful to watch a meltdown in real time.

I'm no professional but I've dealt with mental health issues myself and with family members. The woman has a long history of having to battle with her own mental health. Although this is an example of attention seeking behaviour, I can understand why many others would cast judgment upon her and write her off for doing so.

No human being really wants to die, just to end whatever pain they're going through. The pain is obvious what with surgery and not seeing her kids etc. That's all circumstantial and can change in due time when she becomes well again. I know what it's like to be at the end of a rope and it's a disgusting and bitter feeling as all those issues finally come to light in an explosive manner.

The woman has had a tough life, and what with Ireland apparently finally trying to educate others about mental health issues and that they're no longer to be viewed as the black sheep of society that mustn’t be talked about, I would hope that some people may begin to understand the true gravity of feelings of despair and hopelessness.

When you're stuck in a dark hole and are considering such an action as an end to the pain you're really at the bottom. I'm mean literally on your arse and broken. It is abnormal. I hope she will get the correct help and become well again.

Social media can act as a propellant to these things, it's not right or just that any of her fans should read that but I would assume she's crying out for help.

After reading that it has left me with a sick feeling in my stomach. I don't want to think about any human harming themselves as I find it upsetting... But I'm glad she has been found safe and well and will hopefully get sorted in due time. A breakdown is a very real thing and should never be overlooked. Especially with it being that obvious by being posted on social media. Get well soon is all I can say.

There's no denying that Sinéad has had some....."interesting" opinions and moments, and she can certainly be guilty of being a bit of an attention-seeker. But reading her recent Facebook posts shows a woman who is in enormous distress and desperately in need of help. She's her own worst enemy at times but I really hope she'll be ok.

It's sometimes easy to forget, among all the tabloid headlines, how bloody talented she is. The Lion and The Cobra has to be one of the greatest debut albums by an Irish artist ever.

Even if people view her approach as attention-seeking, it doesn't mean it's not sincere. The "If they really were suicidal they'd keep quiet about it" thing is a myth.

Let's face it. The woman has been getting worse since she was a teenie.... She has anger deep inside her and it eats her up...always has had it...now instead of picking on others she's picking on herself.
Have to say if she hasn't taken an OD then she should be commited to a mental home to get herself sorted. she's a danger to herself and this is a waste of Garda time.... Not to mention issuing what may be defamatory material online....
She needs help- a LOT of it and should NOT be allowed to continue as she is....

but a lot of people have read about and watched her antics over the years and are totally fed up with it.
