Has anyone any experience with TOGAF or any architecture related qualifications? Are they worth doing?

The answer is "it depends". TOGAF, ITIL, etc. are great if you work in the services area, for example in IBM or KPMG or HP, or if you want to get your CITP. It's not very widely used otherwise.
