Repeat Student, CAO Application Queries

    Hi,

I'm a repeat student who has deferred my current year of college to retake the LC. When I registered I ticked the Third-Level Education qualification box as the tooltip did say it was relevant whether I had withdrawn or was still attending my course (I really, really hope I was supposed to tick it). There are some things I'm a bit confused about, though.

Firstly, does having deferred a course count as having withdrawn from it, or would I be considered to be still attending? Secondly, is there a specific way to obtain the attendance and grades they seem to be looking for in the documents? I've only completed a year of my course so I don't have anything official saying I've passed it so far, I don't think; and I wouldn't have access to my college profile now that I've deferred. Would the college have them somewhere?

There seems to be a lot more hoops to jump through now that I'm no longer in school, so I'm hoping someone more familiar with this process can shed a bit of light on it for me. I'd be really grateful.

I am a bit confused. So have you done one year in college? Then deferred a second year and retaken the LC? You should have results from year one showing you passed the course in year one no?
