    Very tempted by this.

    I assume there's no issue installing certain other streaming apps not on the Play Store too?

    I would be very surprised if they cant be rooted.

    I bought one yesterday.

    Seemingly no bother to sideload.

    QUICK:

    head over to amazon.fr and select the 16gb version but also add the remote separately.

    when you get to the til the remote will be deducted:

    Half way down the product page on the Amazon there is a Special Offers and Product Promotions section.

    You can add the remote there and the discount is taken at the checkout.

    I sent it Parcel Wizard to get it for the £119.99 price including free delivery.

    Thanks OP and The Lone Ranger

    Basically Parcel Wizard gives you a UK address to use, allowing you to avail of free UK delivery where possible. This is then forwarded to your own house. You get the first 3 deliveries free of charge too :D

    There's a thread here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057517076 about it.

    It's a new service similar to Parcel Motel in that they give you a UK forwarding address to send purchases to but unlike Parcel Motel they then deliver them directly to your house.

    You get 3 free uses of the services to be used before the end of the year for signing up.

    thanks lads.
    I have bought from the amazon.fr site.

    here is how I see it right now:

    Amazon.co.uk = £119 (169.20) shipped via parcel wizard

    Amazon.fr = €174.24 shipped direct to house.

    not much in it, so I'm not gonna moan :D

    Anyone see any deals on the stand. I wouldn't want to pay more than 20e though. It should come with the set.

    Won't the French one have a 2 pin plug?

    Got it from UK. €183 to here.
    Be careful using PW/pm. It ships as 2 parcels.
    At least direct it can be grouped to get free delivery

    It's €166 from France through Parcel Wizard. The power supply comes with UK and EU adapter so no problem there:

    Edit: Shield tablet comes with dual adapter, not sure about the tv box

    The stand is too pricey for me. Maybe something to buy in the future, but there may be a Chinese knock off stand :)

    oit really, Half Life 2, Portal and the like.

    The Streaming service has around 50 titles and you get 3 months free.

    I will be using it for Emulation and streaming from my PC
