Argos Ireland beat the rush and kicked off their deals last Friday but have unveiled their final plans for the Black Friday bonanza

The time has finally come - Black Friday is just a day away and Argos have revealed their final Irish deals ahead of a bumper day of shopping tomorrow.

Argos is launching deals across over 350 products on Black Friday including TVs, computers, tablets, fridges and washing machines and much more.

Deals will be available for customers to check and reserve online from 1am tomorrow and in-store from 6am, which is when most of Argos' 40 Irish stores will open tomorrow.

The retailer kicked off their Black Friday mega deals on a week ago on Friday November 20 and will continue for a further five days.

From savings of up to €500 on televisions, 60% on selected toy lines and half price on home entertainment, Argos had also vowed that these offers wouldn't go lower on Black Friday itself or they will refund the difference.

That's a bloody fantastic price for that coffee machine.

    It's OK, they're usually around €59.99.

    €39.99 in DID - http://www.did.ie/bosch-tassimo-multi-beverage-machine-tas2002gb-prd

Disappointing that. Nothing on there worth noting. All hope lies with random retailers I guess.

That Xbox 'deal' is less appealing than much of the rest of the console deals they have any regular week of the year.

    Thanks OP

I'm sure it's been asked and answered elsewhere but just wondering if I reserve tonight will I get at sale price tomorrow?

Refurb PS4 for 299. Why would someone buy that when there a brand new Uncharted one for same price. Also very bad deals, I picked up better deals over the last month then the advertised one on Xbox Ones/PS4s.

Was thinking the same thing, surely if you reserve now you will get it at the cheaper price tomorrow but I'm not 100% sure

iPhone 4s have long passed their expiration date, I'd be aiming for a minimum 5 if your scraping it or a 5S preferably

What's stopping people reserving now and picking up at that price tomorrow?

Actually I'd say it's more than prices will be updated at 1am.

If you reserve one, it doesn't affect the stock level?

I guess 5 could be the highest number it shows in stock

All this crap for sale would have been for sale for similar or lower price in the last six months, Watchdog just did a good piece on it

Maybe they'll add them with a new product number at 1am. Seems unlikely though.

I had a quick look for the Toshiba and HP laptops but couldn't find which ones they're referring to.

Uncharted PS4 for €300 is a great price

They are (or were) selling it with Uncharted, Assassins Creed Syndicate and Watch Dogs for €319.99 which is a better deal.

Dont think thats true because it lets you reserve it now so it cant be sold to anybody else tomorrow except your res. no. which has the deal price on it

Uncharted PS4 for €300 is a great price

Not really as they were doing PS4 with Syndicate , Watchdogs and Fallout 4 for 334 with 10e voucher last week. Also as someone mentioned you could get the first two above and uncharted for 319 with a 10e voucher last week as well.

Is the Amazon Fire 7 Tablet worth the €50?

I have been thinking of picking up a tablet for bus journeys and general use.

Is this a bargain at €50?

That Xbox 'deal' is less appealing than much of the rest of the console deals they have any regular week of the year.

I looked this morning and they had some bundles that expired today. Im near certain i saw one for just 500gb xbox one with no games or extras for €249. I am certain they had xbox one 500GB bundle with new tomb raider and star wars game for €349. I click buy or reserve but it seemed to go to some other page and was only able to reserve it I think with no price shown then. Bundle deals they have right now dont seem as good. I assume it will fall more next year. That probably not much use though for anyone looking to pick it up as present.

I'm talking about the non sale prices for the laptops. That's not the price of that Toshiba. And the Hp hasn't been that price in over six months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,318 ✭✭✭dan786

1TB Xbox One shows up as 359 when added to basket. Bargain.

It's certainly worth the $34.99 (€33) and free shipping for 1c more that Amazon.com are giving it for in the US of A

    Still £35 (€49.82+fees ) on Amazon.co.uk
Deal Price: £34.99 & FREE Delivery in the UK. Details
    You Save: £15.00 (30%)

So the deal is normal US price for us

    [edit £34.99 on argos.co.uk too]

Not sure if worth trying for the Lenovo A8 if still available and the free delivery from ParcelWizard.

Cheap and Cheerful at a tenth of the price of an ipad and much better than a no-name from China.

So a good price for bricks and mortar on this side of the pond, but just confirms that Amazon are gouging us over here.

    Can someone answer this?

I bought an item yesterday (thursday evening) for a certain price and for black friday its now 40e cheaper. Would Argos refund the difference?

    No.

You could return it ( unopened) and buy it at the cheaper price.
