1990 was 40 years ago. We are closer to 2050 than we are to 1990. Just think about that.

We're closer to the hovercar than we are to moon landing I.

OP, which shares should we buy?

It's a bear market out there at the moment, I would look into Exxon, Shell, US treasury bonds and if you have a good bit of capital then gold.

I like the look of these new real estate investment trusts too but that's just me.

OP, you've accidentally gone back in time 15 years.

Did you take a Delorean home instead of a taxi?

    Oh they took something alright.

But I don't think it was a Delorean.

That's all clod hopping sh1te, particularly the inability to count from 1990 but the greatest nonsense is that you date backwards to the moon landing and forwards to the introduction of a mythical hover car.

(Hover car should be here now in any case).

The notion of "Linear" time is rather odd and peculiar to Judaeo-Christian societies. Most of the World's great cultures have or had a cyclical view of time, a bit like a circular buffer Round-Robin-database type of thing-a-majigg.

Sure. We've already done that in several parallel Universes, might as well do a couple more and get what astrophysicists call Quasared. :D

The word "late" is abused and overused. Whether one is "late" or work is "early" depends entirely on your frame-of-reference. :D

Hitchhiking The Galaxy One Last Time - Douglas Adams

'The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be.'

20 years ago Arnie and Stallone had just released True Lies and Demolition Man. 20 years from now they'll be nearly 90 and more than likely dead.

Johnny Depp & Brad Pitt will be in their 70's.

I'll still be talking shíte in my 50's

I always wished that I was born on the ninth year of a decade.

I was born in the early 80s but if you were born in 1989, then you are only 26 but have lived within 4 decades, 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s. I know it means nothing but I just think it's kind of cool.
