Last week I attempted to buy the Xbox for €129

It goes without saying there will be high demand for these things. Most of the time it will actually be people putting into their basket but not actually buying it.

It's a complete pain but worth retrying. Site is an outright disaster.

Don't be too concerned if you don't receive a confirmation email. Seems to be more miss than hit on that front. Our TV turned up a few weeks back by courier within 24 hours. Never got a confirmation.

I would suggest writing down your order number even though CPW probably won't be able to find it on their system.

+1 its used to be very bad, but they manage to redesign to be abysmal. Quite an achievement.

Shops do not stock them and many will likely know nothing about them.

Do keep trying the website though. It's taken others hours too.

Shop knew about it but didn't have it in Stock, they said that there most likely out of stock as they're only selling off whats left of them.

When we originally purchased on we were told that the shops don't stock them but I stand corrected if this is not the case.

Our first delivered TV was damaged and we would not get the shop to take it back as they did not stock them and could not store it. Collection was by courier only and replacement was not in stock at the time.

Took me three days to order but went through eventually. I maintain it's worth retrying

Managed to order one and got an email confirmation along with order number, still not 100% certain I'll receive it as it appears to have gone sold out on the site just after, but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyhow.

Awwww. And you might have to deal with actual customers?

It seems that some stores did get TVs although they normally don't stock them. At the time we bought it was definitely online availability only.

A friend picked one up in Blanchardstown for what it's worth.

Did anyone who was successful in ordering one of these get contacted regarding delivery? I got an email from carphone warehouse advising that the processing of my order has been delayed and they will be in touch with me!!! I ordered on Monday and it said 3/5 days delivery.
