In the wake of the tragic events in Paris last week encryption has continued to be a useful bogeyman for those with a voracious appetite for surveillance expansion. Like clockwork, numerous reports were quickly circulated suggesting that the terrorists used incredibly sophisticated encryption techniques, despite no evidence by investigators that this was the case. These reports varied in the amount of hallucination involved, the New York Times even having to pull one such report offline. Other claims the attackers had used encrypted Playstation 4 communications also wound up being bunk.

I take every single release of info surrounding these matters with a grain of salt ( Tee hee). I dont believe for one second all is what it seems . :-(.

Bitcoin was engineered by the world to protect identity , The controls the EU and US want placed upon us all is full time monitoring of everyone everywhere . OF course they are going to try an quash anything which allows anyone operate with any degree of anonymity. Banks are looking to Bitcoin (Privately in the background) not for the anonimising aspects but for the secure transactions and algorithms used in bitcoing transactions . They tried to stop the world downloading illegally . I see they made great gains in that respect . They will push but we will push harder we are more in numbers and defiant til the end. ( Here's hoping anyway)
