I finally got my micro-chip cert, but some details are wrong.

Date of birth should be April, but says March.

Breed says Cocker Spaniel, but he's a Dalmatian/Cocker Spaniel cross, and really looks nothing like a Cocker.

Markings says, black with white spots on chest, but he has a white chest with black spots.

Logged in to fido but it says only an official registrar can edit it.

So does that mean I need to go back to the vets?

Have you got the cert? It should have a pin number on it, going by the Fido website anyway.

Yeah I got it today. I can edit other phone numbers and holiday address. If I want to edit the main details, it says only an official registrar can do that.

Oh right, well then just go back to where she was chipped and ask if they can sort it for you.

Can you not email Fido direct? They're very helpful people!

Fido were very quick to reply to a mail I sent them (even doing so on a bank holiday Monday)- and super fast in sorting my issue out. I would agree with DBB that an email is the way to go.

Email them directly. I had to do this to get some details changed. As previously said, they are very quick to respond and no hassle in changing details.

    Thanks. I shall email them.
