Personal/Small group training Dublin 4 or 6

    Hi all,

Moving back to Dublin after 2 years away next month and I want to make sure I join a training facility straight away before I let things go. Can anyone recommend a personal training or small group training facility in Dublin 4 or 6? I'm not looking for a commercial gym, I've done Crossfit for the past 2 years but not necessarily looking for a Crossfit gym and all that goes with it either. The places I've found online are -

FFS - looks good but seems like classes are probably pretty big - maybe I'm wrong here?
Smart Training Churchtown - seems ideal but location is a bit awkward for me
Zest Fitness in Ballsbridge - website looks good but can't find anyone who's ever gone there.

Any other recommendations? I don't mind paying for the right training - I want something that incorporates heavy (for me!) lifting with HIIT workouts to combine with my running. I also want somewhere that builds in regular assessments and nutrition coaching.

    thanks!

Oh and also - somewhere down to earth and not pretentious please. That was my main issue with Crossfit here, my gym is full of poser types and even though I love the classes, I can't stand the fakeness that accompanies them if that makes sense. I know not all crossfit gyms are like that obviously so I'm not totally ruling it out.

How many people would "small" be for you?

Harolds Cross is D6 - South Dublin Strength and Conditioning is a GREAT gym out there.

This looks really good thanks Hanley. I would like groups of no bigger than 5/6 people if possible - it sounds like their regular classes there will be bigger than that but they cater for smaller groups. I'll contact them to see how to go about joining one and what their rates are for smaller groups. I also really like the sign on their wall that says "No phones" - people in my gym videoing themselves doing lifts in the regular classes drives me NUTS! Sorry, minor rant.
