    I sometimes suffer with lower back pain from time to time but anytime I don't wear undies I don't feel any discomfort in my back at all.

    Seriously though, if anyone is suffering with lower back pain just give it a try for a day or 2 and see if you notice any improvement.

    I don't have a john, but going commando is something some folk (male and female) like the sensation of, and others find uncomfortable. No idea why.

    I don't really like to go commando, prefer the comfort of some underwear! Having said that though, when I get home the first thing I do is fling my bra off (the ladies like to be free), most uncomfortable contraption ever invented! :p
