Starting karting

    Hi Lads,

    I'm hoping to start karting with one of my friends, initially we haven't planned to race but may do so in a year or two.
    I have been looking for karts online and there doesn't seem to be much on done deal or the likes.
    Im looking for something around the €1000 mark it doesn't have to be race spec but Id like it to be fast.

    Any advice on what would be a good kart or what to look for?
    And also are there and good dealers in Ireland, I would be a bit skeptical about buying on done deal.
