Absolutely spot on. Political correctness gone mad. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who and what is likely responsible (yet again).

Usually right wing morons use the phrase "political correctness gone mad", but over the last few years it really has gone mad. If you call extremists crazy you're told to check your privilege.

Until Saudi Arabia and Qatar are wiped from the map then this madness will never end. RIP those who lost their lives.

Very sad incident. Hopefully its the wakeup call that will get Europe to act. RIP to all those dead, may their families get justice.

Blaming and finger pointing?? We know well who was responsible for this.

We all know, it's a foregone conclusion

Why can't we say it? If it was any other race there would be no problem

No we don't. The "race" you're alluding to isn't one big group of like-minded people. It could be ISIS, Al-Qaeda, some local mob independent of both, or some other faction we haven't heard of.

Calling extremism crazy is one thing- blaming a whole race or religion is not right on any level

The French Revolution sought to promote fraternity and liberty...freedom from oppression from man or god.

    The struggle continues.

    Vive le France.

Yes because we are all the same homogenous grouping since time began...

And we're getting 5000 unknown quantities soon. Sure Joe Duffy and Michael D are happy to see them so they should be ok

Could we be witnessing the end of Schengen tonight? When this incident eventually ends I don't think Merkel or Hollande will be able to convince anyone of their actions to date.

Merkel has blood on her hands tonight. ISIS did warn her and she didn't listen. "Come all" she said and they have.

Religion is not confined to race, and extremism is not indicative of all members of a religion, but I'm sure we can all read between the lines.

I think we will get another war soon unless we do something about ISIS as there getting worse and worse. They killed one of there leaders today and this is payback.

Every time we do something to stop them they kill loads of people they have shot down a plane after Russia bombed them. Now we kill one of there leaders they kill more of us.

    This needs to stop !!!.

Isis is just one of the many terrorist groups that all have a common thread running through them. But I am not allowed to post it here. We all know what belief system is to blame.

The problem with news like this is that people are so bloody quick to point the finger and look for "who dunnit". That's not just this thread. That's social media/news outlets.

Religion is just any ideology. If the ideology is evil then it can blamed. Races and religions are apples and oranges. One is a set of people, the other is a set of ideas.

    Probably not.

Would not surprise me if the idiots decided to pick up weapons and do it right after Jihadi John was killed.

I am amazed this hasn't happened in the UK and ROI yet. It is a matter of time with the soft approach to the problem.

RIP to those who passed away tonight. Horrible thing to happen.

A little respect would be a great thing.

Lack of respect for humanity is what enables these attackers to do what they do. It's not anyone else's fault.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

35 dead at EODM according to French police. Hate to say it but I fear we may have lost a musical genius in Josh Homme this evening

Not that it's much consolation, but Josh Homme usually doesn't tour with EODM so I doubt he's there tonight.
