Islam and Judaism do not recognise Jesus. Islam has an entirely different character of Jesus with an entirely different story.

Last word on this but in both Islam and Christiansity: Virgin birth, Messiah of God, performed miracles, preached the word of God, ascended to heaven by God, had a group of disciples, persecuted by the Romans and Jews, awaiting the second coming etc. The stories differ but undeniably based on the same character.

This news came out a few hours ago no?

Obviously carrying the passport (if it's even his own) with the express intention of ****ing over the refugees. Nightmare for all the genuine ones.

I wonder is this will have ramifications for the Euro's in France next summer?

A lot of people might be put of travelling to them.

What is the story with all the posters registered today to flog this christian right wing agenda, has the thread been linked from an extreme right or white power forum or something?

Genuine question, there are a handful of them

    It's nothing new.

One assumes that authorities will have some method of identifying the bodies of the dead attackers in order to confirm if the passport genuinely belongs to this guy.

Except one was the messiah and one was a character used to add legitimacy a medieval war lord and mass rapist.

What is right wing about Christianity?

ISLAM is right wing as it gets. How about you attack that?

The reports I am reading don't say it was found on anyone. What I am reading says a Syrian and an Egyptian passport were found near the bodies of two suicide bombers.

It's that a bit convenient? Both passports were blown clear but landed nearby?
Or did they carefully place their passports in a safe but close place before blowing themselves up?

I don't know but when you work it out maybe you should tell the current crop of US Republican candidates they are in the wrong religion.

This throws a very sinister slant on the situation - I feel so sorry for the genuine refugees.

I attack that plenty too, it's all different flavours of the same moronic fairy tales to me.

It's just obvious that the board and this thread in particular has suddenly been brigaded by an influx of people with an agenda in mind.

No comment on that point at all, you can only talk yet again about Islam even though it wasn't in my quote at all?

It's very odd that they'd even be carrying their passports in the first place unless they wanted to be identified

Don't worry, I'm sure Bono will lead the fight back by releasing another crappy album.

The West is going to have to take action against the Islamic State. Can't let this kind of thing continue to happen. I was against the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, but something needs to be done here.

Agreed, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq wiped terrorism from those countries and made us all safer. Well, if you're an American...and weren't at the Boston marathon.

Yes, I agree. Christians accepts peoples right to choose thier own beliefs.

This is about ISIS attacks, With Islamic fundementalism, particularly Sunni Islam, being the driving force.

The topic of Christianity came up when people tried to say Christians are just as bad. Which is bollox. It may have been that atrocoties were carried out under the guise of Christianity in the past, but these actions were performed OUTSIDE the rules of Christianity.

The Islamic terror attacks are very much IN LINE with ISLAMIC BELIEF. That is the difference!

One can carry out a terror attack and still be a wholly approved theologically correct Muslim.

    Gee, I dunno

What do people think will happen in response to this? I am so horrified enough is enough one life lost to this terrorism was one too many how many have been lost now.

Well doesn't it allow IS to say that they've carried out their threat to smuggle terrorists via refugee s though

In a bizarre twist 1200 people at the match last night were volunteers who did search and rescue after the German plane crash, they were brought to the a match by Lufthansa as a thank you :(
