Hi my friend dropped out of college a few weeks ago and now he wants to go back and repeat the leaving at the start of December.
He didn't like the course he was doing so the course he wants to do next year requires more points,
is this still possible for a student to do the leaving cert and go back to school at the start of December or is it too late? All help much appreciated!

That would very much depend on the school, but yes he can apply in January to do the exam as an external, so if he can't get a school he could study at home.

If he has got any grant etc., he needs to let people know asap that he is not continuing with the course.
