Is it just a coincidence that this
is popping up on Facebook just after the Star Bucks hysteria??
Other than the odd anecdotal yarn about some crank moaning about a crib in a hospital is there any genuine concern that ISIS are at the gate about to assasinate anyone eating a breakfast roll or , as we've been hearing since the 50's, De Athiests are trying to steal our Christmas?
Im atheist, drink too much, live on rashers and observe the 99% pagan festival recently rebranded as Christmas which bothers me about as much as Thursday being dedicated to Thor.
Do people just love to feel that granting equal rights to citizens of the state who differ to them is actually some major erosion of their own rights?

So. Am I missing something or are us "Christians :-) (We all are apparently) really under attack?

That has not made it onto my Facebook feed so far, which is a relief. Anything that suggests someone "**** off back home" is just bigoted garbage, unless it's a demand that the last stragglers leave your home when the house party is done. And not all Irish people eat bacon, not all Irish people drink alcohol, and not all Irish people are Christian.

    Yup. Im with you there.
But my question less rantingly put is:
Is there any need for this?
Is our pig eating beer loving 'Christian' culture under any sort of threat?

Nope, there's no need for it, but that won't stop obnoxious fcuks fishing for validation on social media.

I wouldn't take any notice of it GB tbh.

Its a fairly far ranging list of potential deportees though.
Do pioneers and kids taking the pledge have to move or is their Christianity mitigating factor?
I know a priest whos a vegetarian. Is he ok.?

Obviously won't happen on a country wide basis but having lived in a majority conservative Islamic area of London for couple of months, it sucked, majority of pubs closed, hard to get pork bearly everything halal, old cinema that in a different area would have been turned into hipster wine bar or cafe was an Islamic study center (cant remember actual title). Loads of fully veiled women, you never ever saw gay couples there.
Basically it was everything that progressives hate but hey they weren't living there.
Turkish areas were meant to be alright though (AFAIK it was pakistani Afghan and Bangladeshi where I was)

Yep, it's a handful of confused semi literates with a few social media accounts and often a couple of burner accounts so they can be brave enough to say what they really mean. They juse about get organised enough to protest against the Islamification of Ireland in Clonskeagh and then need to request a gardai escort away from their own protests. It's hilarious really. If these are our saviours we're all f*cked. Luckily we need saviours in their minds only. Be nice to them though because it's been a tough few years for them with everyone else making progress. Sure, even the gays are allowed to marry now. They're effectively living behind enemy lines in Gomorrah.

This reminds me, I had my first taste of waffles at the weekend when I was in my friend's house. I tried them with bacon and maple syrup and I was very hesitant, I always thought the Americans were mad with their waffles and bacon and maple syrup. It turns out I was wrong, oh how I was wrong! Somehow this bizarre combination is a little piece of heaven, and I will never criticise the Americans for their wonderful waffle concoctions again.

The woman that stormed out of her house to scream at us for putting a leaflet (Vote Yes) through her door and demanded that we remove this filth forthwith was definitely homegrown.

Can't be sure about the asshat that set a dog on me, but it was a predominately rich older Irish area that it happened in.

'Course, there is the argument that everyone hates leafleters!

I dunno about the nastiest but a few "new irish" randomers and the old reliables in the RC and the totally not RC Iona Institute locked arms to combat the horrors of something that had no potential at all to effect their lives and got told to **** off at the ballot.

Where were you in London that you couldn't find rashers by the way? I've lived all over East London and never had a problem finding them, and I eat enough of them to be concerned by the WHO warnings!

Yes, the less than 5% of the UK that is muslim is due to take over any day now. Maybe they'll give us the north back when they do because it's such a vanguard of Christianity.

Im not in a position to doubt you as I dont live there but I travel all over the UK and have witnessed very little to make me have such fears.
What we do see a lot is hysterical and always debunked yarns like Fox News stating that white people no longer live in birMINGhamm as it is now a Muslim city:rolleyes:

Yup. And Im simply wondering has this non issue contributed in any way to the sudden need for apparently embattled Irish citizens to fear for their Christmas as well.

Person owns shop. No one in area served by shop eats pigmeat. Shop stops selling stock pigmeat.

Person owns old cinema. Person lets building to highest bidder. Tenant opens study centre.

Explain how this is left wing, because I can see the invisible hand at work here.

Even if you were to take these stats at face value, which I'm not inclined to do as I like question the possible political agenda of the person writing up these pieces, their level of expertise and the validity and reliability of the stats they're using, 26 million is still not the majority.

The argument presented in the link is complete fiction. A net increase of about a million Muslims in the UK over the course of a decade only happens through births or immigration, neither of which scale in the way the writer thinks they do. It's utter idiocy.

Could get sh-t stuff in Co-Op and Tesco, butchers subway etc were Halal.
To be honest lack of pork wasn't a big issue, my point is its an area that was deeply unappealing for anybody that spouts enlightened thinking to actually live, I'm sure it would be sh-t living in an area dominated by fundamentalist Christians or Jews too and as I said more secular Muslim communities like Turks seemed to be make for nice areas.
Your going to know way more about London than me (wasn't there long) obviously, but the impression I was given was that traditionally the Irish and Afro-caribeans got on very well due to cultural similarities (and the way the English thought we were both violent lazy drunks =-O )
Thankfully in Ireland we don't seem to Ghettoised as much.
It was close to Forest Gate.
