All ready for bed. Making hot water bottle. Spill boiling water all over left hand. Now I am standing at sink with cold water over hand. Every time I stop my hands on fire. I just wanna sleep. Now I will be uncomfortable in sleep too. Argh

So sorry to hear that. :(

I was lighting a smoke outdoors the other day and couldn't see the flame. Burnt my thumb.

Its such an irritating "burning" pain. I have had it under cold water for 20mins but it hurts just as bad once I remove it now. I just want to sleep not stand over my sink. :(

Ice pack and tight bandage would be my best advice. Or get someone to stand on your toe and you will forget about the burn:D

I have severe raynuard syndrome - I should not even have it in cold tap water cause the blood os stopping going to my hand again. Hassle I do not need.

So...the broken toe is legit a possibility ha

I also got badly burned by Shannon earlier. *runs off weeping*

Do you want to hear another TA of mine? I could stub my toe or break my foot but I can not feel it. Nerve damage from raynuards in my hands and feet.
But its severe in my feet and not in my hands hence why the burn still hurts like a bitch.
    Arghhhh

Stay away from her Hugo - she will smash your toes in!

Have to say the username is a bit of a red herring but apologies.

Its been almost 35mins in cold water and it still burns just as much when I lift it from water. No blisters but **** its burning. I may have to consider the ice.

Some people on here thought I was female. Can't see how.

I didn't think it would cause this much hassle when I signed up.

You might want to call an on-call doctor if the burning persists.

I know no one can give medical advice on boards so yeah I might have to.
I can see the red part of my finger then a clear dividing section which never got hit by water.
I can't be bothered paying £50 for a taxi to nearest dr/hospital so might suffer through till tomorrow.

Oh no. It's a MASSIVE annoyance, especially at this time of year, when there are loads of Orish fillums on the tellybox. I'm watching Ryans Daughter right now. I want to chop off my ears, every time Robert Mitchum opens his gob !

Saw a poor little moggy dead on the side of the street earlier. Been thinking of the poor thing all day. I hope it was quick for the little fur ball....All hail the moggies.....
