    2 years left with RTE will be seen out.
    Can't say Im super excited about this. However, wonder if the Panel / Commentating Team will change much from RWC line-up

    TV3 can only improve from RWC, tidy up the editing and production it's not too bad

    So gaa will be the only sport that rte are going to show from 2018-2021. Roi soccer will be downhill by then if not considered already.

    Where does this leave the autumn internationals ??

    With the prospect of Daire O'Brien being the host on RTE, I welcome this.

    Would love if TV3 went for Pro12 rights.

    RTE are a joke. TV3 should sign up some of the better pundits like Pope and shaggy and ROG and really go for it !feck it get BOD on board too

    Niall Cogley, TV3 Group's Director of Broadcasting said: "In the last two months TV3 has been able to demonstrate its credentials as Ireland's National Commercial Broadcaster with a refreshing and comprehensive presentation of all 48 games in the Rugby World Cup.

    We are gratified that the Six Nations Unions and Federations and their Executive team were sufficiently impressed by our recent work.

    We very much look forward to presenting Rugby's Greatest Championship into the foreseeable future and making TV3 the home of rugby in Ireland"
