Shia LaBeouf - All My Movies

Anyone seen this? It's happening right now (link below).

So...this is his "art" I guess.

"Visitors are invited to join Shia LaBeouf in person as he watches all his movies consecutively in reverse chronological order over the next three days, 24 hours a day (admission free)."

My heart goes out to him - having to sit through 3 Transformers films AND Crystal Skull.

This is weird but oddly fascinating. For once he has a little "art" project that might have some novelty to it.... pity it's all his movies though. That'd be a pain to get through for the audience.

Was watching it earlier this morning, for some reason I found it fascinating. If I was to guess, he was watching Transformers.

I love this man. He just does not give a F.

Ok I need to do real things.

    Nope. Still watching.

Stream won't play in Safari on my Mac, only Chrome. Anyone else have this problem? Is it Flash?

It's iffy. Was fine earlier on iphone.

    Dammit I'm watching it again.

Would be cool if they had included Picture in Picture of what hes watching.

I think his latest attention grabbing piece of performance art nonsense has less credibility than most of the tripe he's appeared in over the years.

Randomly watched 'a guide to recognizing your saints' last night. It's the only movie of his I can think of that I've really enjoyed.

At least the marathon is ending with a true masterpiece. Wouldn't mind having a dual-screen set up, watching Nausicaa and watching him watch Nausicaa. :P

    Just checked in, he's asleep.

What happened to him ? Was he always a weirdo or did he have a breakdown of some sort ?

His best film will always be holes

"At the same time, a live stream will continuously broadcast the performance above."

What performance? Him watching his movies?

Constantine? Fury? He's grand in both these

He's plainly bored silly by most of what he is watching. And who can blame him.

If they have a similar event with Jack Nicholson or Al Pacino I'd consider attending.

Maybe I'm just annoyed that he's wasting his time doing this, when he could be out there making that third Wall Street movie that we all want to see.

    GET TO IT SHIA!

The guy is a pretty good actor just a little bit eccentric.

It's strangely captivating, have it playing on my second screen at work and the look of utter joy on his face at times is just infectious. The strange pirate sat beside him atm is a little creepy and I assume that he brought drugs for everyone.

What would people reckon his best performance to date is? Disturbia?

And I'll be honest - I'd rather sit through Transformers again than Nymphomaniac. Woof.

This feels like one of those video-art installations in modern museums I constantly walk by: I don't get them, I don't get the point of them.

Mr. TheBeef really is an odd fish, and were it not for his relative fame I'd wonder would anyone be paying a blind bit of attention to his Concepts. He's not that bad an actor mind you, but never struck me as anything more than a jobbing character actor who somehow contrived his way into the limelight.

When will he watch all the episodes of 'Even Stevens' back-to-back? :D

He was in that Sia music video, which was brilliant.
So well done Shia for that and Constantine...

LaBoeuf is now offering refunds for Transformers 3, Indiana Jones and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. He says he's "so, so sorry" for "ripping people off."

I did like Disturbia alright. He wasn't bad in Lawless either tbf.

Was expecting a rant about video and performance art being pretentious from Kermode but I'm happy to see that he was as endeared to this project as I was. You kinda can't help but like him laughing and cringing at his own work.

Someone on Reddit pointed out this interesting thing -

This is Shia reacting to the Even Stevens movie (I had never heard of it before). What they noticed is that he's cringing, laughing, and clapping any time he sees his costars, like he misses them.
The best part is that you can see his biggest reactions come from watching his co-stars again. That's when he's laughing and clapping his hands and getting into it.
Really, all the weird Louis moments get little from him, but he seems to be having a blast looking back on all the people who were goofy with him.
