Hi guys,

So the end is nearly nigh for the release of Fallout 4.

I'm completely against pre-orders, so if anyone has any good info on where is going to be cheapest to buy this when it gets released tomorrow, it'd be appreciated!

Going to start a list here of everywhere I see with a copy and their price.

Supervalu have been pretty good with new releases around the €50 mark.

Argos generally never list games on their website until the release day. At least that was the case with Black Ops 3 and the new Need for Speed last week.

Also, they were selling Black Ops 3 for around €56 on it's release day only. So hopefully Fallout will receive a similar treatment

Just got a FB message back from Tesco, they have a guide price of 48Euro for PS4 version although they have covered their arses by saying it is subject to change

48?! Yeah, it would be a huge surprise if they stick with that price, then again, I haven't the slightest clue what Tesco are like with new releases.

I'll ring one of their stores early tomorrow morning and try to get some clarity.

Apparently they're not getting it in until at least this evening, but more than likely it'll be on the shelves tomorrow.

It's 69.99 in Tesco, not on the shelves but it's in the stockroom at Tesco Ballybrack

PC, PS4 or Xbone guys?

I was leaning towards PS4 as I have a high end multimedia laptop, not specifically designed for gaming, but I can run GTA V without many issues.

With xbox, I'm just not sure if there's any version differences due to the hardware, i.e. resolution or frame rate!

Thanks, I know. I don't think I'll get to play it before the weekend though so happy for someone else to take it and I'll hope for more stock by Friday

Ah I see now, I used UK currency. It was 32 pound after discount, which equated to 44 euro.

Hoping Argos gets the PS4 one back in stock quickly enough. Fighting the urge to download from the store, would really rather a physical copy.

I have one reserved in Argos tomorrow. Tried to cancel my Amazon one as it hadn't been despatched yet. Couldn't do it through the site, had to talk to someone to do it. They're going to cancel it when it ships and refund me. They must be delivering it (its one that includes the book and CD) by courier because they said it wouldn't reach me so I wouldn't need to return it.

Still, not going to risk getting the Argos one until I have it confirmed as refunded on Amazon.

Fingers crossed it will and i can pick up the Argos one tomorrow, other half is working tomorrow night! ;-)

Just as an FYI, may be worth shopping around now or trying Smyths Toys (€65). Argos have increased their price to €63.49 anyway!

Still more than 10 cheaper than XV, HMV and GS if needed to be bought in a shop.
