Secretflying posted a BA for Ryanair earlier, I can't post the link.

I just signed up myself on myRyanair entered my contact, passport, travel preferences, and payment details. And I got a reward for 10€ off my trip and it's valid for 5 months. Not bad for 5 minutes work and there are not many terms and conditions also.

Jumped through all the hoops - payment method, travel docs & travel preference questions.

I see this on my Dashboard, but how do I actually claim the voucher?

If I click on T&C's, I'm met with:

    It's a £ not a €. I wonder is that the issue?

There's a € symbol showing above though MM.

I'm finding that new FR website hugely buggy at the moment.

I've filled in passport details & they display correctly if I click the 'Passengers' tab on the left.

When I return to the dashboard tab however, it's seemingly not taking account of the fact my travel documents have been entered & saved correctly.

    Got My Reward. Thanks OP

If you click on the menu on the top left, click the drop down arrow beside your name, click Rewards. There you will see the €10.

Try going back to Dashboard > myProfile and ensure you have added phone number and nationality. I had the same problem and eventually got the reward.

Thanks OP. Nice that it can be used next year too. Will book something next Feb for sure. :)

Funnily enough I signed back in there and my reward has disappeared. I get:

    Not yet!
You are not eligible for any rewards at the moment.

The new website seems unresponsive and slow sometimes perhaps it will take awhile to sort out

In the "My Ryanair Progess" section it says 65% so I'm presuming when I fill in whatever I'm missing this should come up to 100%

Earlier I had 50% and I could still see my reward but it's worth trying at this stage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,208 ✭✭✭keithclancy

All my financial and personal data stored live in their website for a tenner ....... They can keep the tenner :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,871 ✭✭✭Karen23

I'll try it from the laptop in case there's something not coming up on my phone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 511 ✭✭✭meolwan

Filled in all the information up to 60% and still get
"You are not eligible for any rewards at the moment." in the Rewards section......

i am emailing customerqueries@ryanair.com. They respond:
    Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email. In order that we may direct your query to the appropriate department so that it can be addressed as quickly as possible, please select from one of the following options:

To online chat with an agent click here,

    Provider does not exist
    Invalid Department

    YOU COULDN'T MAKE IT UP!

    Phone Number,
    Passport Details,
    Nationality,
    Picked an avatar picture,
The numerous preference questions (May be upwards of 25+).
    Credit Card details.

That should be it then. Do not take notice of the completion percentage. Mine is at 50% but I got the reward.

I usually am very blaze about giving companies my payment details but this is a very valid concern. Simply from the fact of the amount of trouble Ryanair has had with its IT infrastructure. It really wouldn't fill me with confidence as to their security arrangement. With all the recent hacks of much more secure infrastructure, this could end in tears.

SO. Get your reward and then delete your credit card details!

And as I speak, mine has dissipated too. God their IT setup is dire for such a large, profitable company.

I deleted my credit card details. No way I'm leaving them up on that joke of a site. Its unreal how buggy the site is for a company that size.

Would make me wonder if they are really deleted though, or they just sit in a database not visible in the field.

True. And I didn't even get the tenner for my efforts.

banks will cover any fraudulent transaction, so I never get to upset.

Is their customer care outsourced? English doesn't seem to be a strong point.

Is this actually a ryanair site or some dodgy other party offer.
My sister signed up to a discount offer last year after booking with ryanair. It promised something like 10% off ryanair flights. The result was a €12 per month charge applied to her bank account.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,248 ✭✭✭lau1247

guys i believe you have to complete the survey (Lots of small questions) from the dashboard page. Once I did that yesterday, the credit came through..

West Dublin, ☀️ 7.83kWp ⚡5.66 kWp South West, ⚡2.18 kWp North East

Its on the Ryanair site. Its definitely their offer.

Sounds like your sister did not read the Ts and Cs on a third party site.

I submitted all the data requested this morning and still nothing. I already had the app with the same email I used today , I'm wondering if the voucher is only for new accounts?

See post #37 - Ryanair have advised posters that the promotion starts monday and that the vouchers will be available then.

No point in further speculating here until Monday when we will find out if anyone can see their vouchers.

Ryanair will probably increase their fares from Monday to compensate for all of the vouchers which will then exist...
