Also have you been naughty or nice?

There's nothing I want or need. I suck at presents, both giving and receiving.

I wouldn't mind if someone decided to spoil me with some L'Occitane Verbena bath stuff though. It smells like heaven but is just soooooo expensive.

And I've been very naughty, but in a nice way :D

You are the key to your own hapiness. :) Relationships dont automatically bring that.

As for me, maybe a voucher to get my hair done.
I dont know what im buying anyone yet though, a tad unorganised!

THERE'S SO MANY THINGS I WANNNT!!!
But they're all very specific things, like books, that I would need to tell someone I want, and I hate doing that for Xmas. I much prefer surprises!

What I REALLY want is for someone to be psychic and surprise me with one of the things I don't want to actually ask them for.

It's really not that difficult :P

L'Occitane isn't that expensive they have a bottle of that verbana foaming bath oil stuff for 25 euro and you can get collections for like 50 or something.. I love that shop..or i used to....it was more special before everyone else started to go there.

I remember one year before Christmas there was a cue all the way out of the shop it had become so popular.

You can be perfectly happy in yourself and still want to have a partner :)

Unfortunately E20 for 500ml of shower gel is more than I can conscience. I'll have to find a rich man to marry, or win the lotto, I think.

Just found out about the Urban Decay eyeliner and eye-shadow vaults. I am now in desperate need of them!

Other than that, I'd love if Santa could send me an early gift of passing results on my exams and a successful surgery!

You doubly deserve your Urban Decay now. Good luck with both especially the latter.

Id love more time with my partner. Things are so crazy right now that we don't get much time together.

Other than that I'd love an Xbox one or PS4. And some more Tom Ford Black Orchid. It's sooooo good!!

One of the nice things about holidays:-)

Christmas not being mentioned till beginning of December would be a good start. Anyway I would love less stressful period before Christmas than last year. I guess I should ask for those last year.

An office. I'm sick of having my computer in my bedroom, a change of scenery would be great. And if I can't have an office then a balcony where I can get some air.

My father has an office at my parents' place. It's a mess and he never uses it. My mother has been trying to get him to empty it out for years. If he did clean it up my mother said I could use it when I go on my staycations there, which would be ideal. So really my father cleaning a room would be a great Christmas present.

And clothes. I'm desperately in need of clothes.

The one and only thing that I want, but I know probably won't happen for a few years is to move, far, far away from Dublin, and far from any neighbours!! thanks stupid unwanted rent increases!

I'd like to make sure my flight makes it home for Christmas :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,802 ✭✭✭beks101

Just Christmas with my family, sat around the bloated dinner table stuffing our faces with turkey and ham and roast potatoes and then falling into food comas in front of whatever tripe movie RTE is offering and walking the prom with the dog wrapped up in our winter coats and scarves and squabbling about random crap and feasting on turkey sandwiches for the rest of the week.

I think living abroad and getting older has made me hyper aware of how bloody important all those Christmases together really are. I don't know how I'd cope or if I'd cope at all if I had to deal with that dreaded empty chair.

(And a pair of Miu Miu Over The Knee boots and some Michael Kors perfume ;) )

It'd be nice just to be able to come home. I'm moving to China in 3 weeks, and they don't have Christmas there really, so I didn't think I'd be able to come back, but now I think I can. :) Having Christmas to look forward to would really ease me in to living there which would be good.

It'd be lovely to do the Fat Turkey run again, with my best friend 'encouraging' me along the Howth Road all the way up to the summit. :pac: Weather for it last year was surprisingly great!

And the sitting around the dinner table with the exact same routine and dinner I've had every single year of my life. Before my mam and my uncle move in to the living room, where it's always BLAZING hot due to the fire being on, and falling asleep beside each other with a drink in their hands, bless.

Presents though, not too bothered, a nice perfume is always appreciated, but I treat myself enough during the year!

I want to have an offer put in on an house and have it accepted by Christmas and moved in :)

Wishful thinking I know, but I'm hanging to put up decorations without worrying I'm going to mark the wall I'm renting in :)

I was away from my family last Christmas, but this year we'll all be together for Christmas for the first time in years.

There's nothing else I want or need, I learned the value of it last year.

Nothing. I never get many pressies anyway bar things like a hot water bottle and socks, so I just want to see family and friends back home as always.

I don't care what's inside them but I would love presents that I can squeeze and rattle and guess what they are before I rip open the paper like a 5 yer old ;-)

For the last few years my family has resorted to vouchers a lot and don't get me wrong they are great for spending in the January sales, but traditional old me thinks there's nothing quite like a present all wrapped up with your name on a label, even if it's only a selection box and new socks inside!!

Oh and I'd quite like a steamy hot snogging session with some tall dark and handsome randomer on a Christmas night out please.......!!!
