Need an FTA satellite/Saorview box, does anyone have any experience of this one?

Saw it on freetv.ie

I don't need any Android functionality and I don't need a record function, just a bog standard (HD) satellite box.

i would highly rate this Unit , its Small ( can be hid behind flat screen ) , impresive remote control response , great build quaility , i would sugges that you do get it " pre-programed , if you buy from freetv.ie , i have installed dozens of these Units , and never had a problem with them , another Unit i would recommend is the " Amiko Mini Combo , there are Very good Combo boxes for there price range

I'm looking to dip my toes into FTA and Saorview and have cancelled UPC Tv. Is this basic box still a decent bet as a combi option? I don't record TV so single tuner should be fine for me.

We do no use DVB-T2 for HD Saorview channels in Ireland. We use DVB-T.

Hi. Looking for tech advice on one of these.

Optimuss Underline stuck in start boot sequence due to usb pendrive failure while updating it , will not start up, anyway to rescue it?

Don't know anything about this box really, but I see they have a serial line utility on their website. Perhaps it's recoverable with that, (assuming you have the hardware).

Nice that they have the recovery tools on the site alright https://www.edision.gr/en/detail/optimuss-underline-3in1 . Think you might need to recover through the rs232 port if cannot get it started properly. You might/should? have got a serial to 3.5mm cable with the box.
