I've only been here a week, but I enjoy the "Write the first word that comes to mind when you read the above" thread.

What's the most thanked post in all of boards history?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,477 ✭✭✭Riddle101

Remember a few years ago a poster named Pighead got into an argument with a poster named Rated R. Can't remember how it exactly came about and I can't find the post, but it led to Pighead saying Rated R was an anagram of Retard. I don't know, you'd have to see the argument to get it, but it was really funny at the time.

Not a particular post. Instead, I do enjoy the Israel vs Palestinian threads.

Always the same players taking the usual sides. The threads always end the same way to.

The one where the guy punched the kid in the face. Can't remember the poster, or when it was

These were 2 I posted in a thread a while back....
Last summer an Irish kid signed for Barcelona FC. A thread was started in the soccer forum and one user posted a picture of the child in a Barca kit. It wasnt long until the guy who owned the copyright appeared in the thread threatening to sue Boards and the member who posted the image. But that buzzkill was quickly left red faced when JaMarcus Hustle posted the following:

Maybe you needed to follow the entire thread but I just thought it was an epic response!

Secondly is the story of a man by the name of RoscommonTom. Tom wanted to cook soup one evening. Unfortunately he left the kitchen for a few minutes and it boiled over, ruining the top of the cooker. It needed to be cleaned and Tom needed help! So he went to the one place he thought best to ask a cooking/cleaning/kitchen related question... http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=82305805

The Vodafone iPhone for 50 quid had some good ones.
The uproar that kicked off when people's orders got cancelled was funny.
There was even a Facebook petition started.
I heard one person ordered 20 iPhones!

Most posts by his majesty AvB. A poster who is by far the greatest troll to grace us with his/her presence or if the trolling is unintentional, well.... I can be astonished that this person exists.

Nothing here ever made me laugh as much as the ****ty wedding day. I thought it was a made up pisstake and nobody could destroy a hotel so badly.

You just couldn't imagine that happening on your wedding day of all days. The description of the guests response to it all had me in fits.
